I have to say, I love the update and I think it's great.

But I have to concede the point of higher difficulty in relation to the new players... and I have noticed this, this last few days.

I'm playing my Sorc questing through Glenumbra (doing main quests, book hunting, and Skyshards mostly) and I've seen a lot of low level players (around 7 to 18) really struggle with fights on random trash mobs.

Of course, I stick to help and heal if I see someone struggling near, but it must be really frustrating to those players, I think.

I don't know, perhaps it is/was normal? I haven't started to level a new char in a long time (last one was months ago) and perhaps it was always like this lately...

But I don't remember seeing this much struggle when I last went through a low level zone with a lowbie myself.

For me the struggle has come with the update and my biggest annoyance is the not just the update but the number of players that see you struggling to get to something and snipe it out from under you instead of helping. Though I shouldn't be surprised by this as most people seem to only be out for themselves these days, honor and integrity being foreign concepts to the instant gratification world we live in. That said I would like to thank you for being the type of player that helps other random players.

    ^^ Yeah, I noticed that too, @Dede_Bug

Lots of people trampling around, ignoring whatever is happening around them just to get to their objective... I think is the fever of the new sets and wanting to get everything NOW.

As for me helping: I always liked to help (one of the things I missed the most when playing vet chars since old vet zones used to be so empty,) that's he reason why my first char I enjoyed playing was my healer :)
And also the reason I don't feel home playing stamina builds, because I feel helpless not being able to heal other people when they are struggling

Healing some one who is struggling is a good thing. I discovered not every player wants someone to come in and stomp the target for them. I am that way to a point. I prefer to take the beast on my own where I can, but sometimes, when death appears to be imminent a heal or a DD save is welcome. It isn't always easy to tell if one is helping or interfering. I'm not high end, but I do watch and if they are not dying, I leave them go.

I have also noticed that some folks roll in take the goods and hightail it. Not very nice thing to do. I am a bit old school. I prefer to wait until the player before has finished then take my turn. We have a new generation of players that do not show the same courtesy that was one a mainstay of MMOs. If we cannot teach them a better way by example and praise, then we can only tolerate.

Exactly. @shadoza! That's what I do... If I pass near someone taking a beating, I wait and see... if their health drops too low, I cast a Healing Ward and wait, and if I have another healing ability on I use it.

Also, I don't normally jump into fight that another player is involved unless they are being overwhelmed with mobs, and then I only aggro one of the "outer" mobs, so to speak, to take off pressure from him.

I am by no means a high level player, I only made Champion 2 days ago and feel extremely disheartened with the fact that my ability to aid my friends and guild mates has become an arduous endeavor as I can longer gather the resources to craft gear for them by going to different areas. I used to spend a couple days a week stockpiling resources for crafting gear of all levels to give out and now I fear that when my current stock runs out I will have to create character's just for resource gathering at lower levels. This task will also be made more difficult as my girl seems to barely survive every enemy encounter and I'm afraid that I will have to respec and drop all crafting abilities just to be able to gather said resources.
