unable to have multiple grievious leeching ward ... so its kinda stupid cus well i want the same shield x2

Step 2 give grievous ward to char who wants 2
Step 3 complete icp on char that already has one

agreed but if u come by a dagger that was unique and is the only dagger for that set ... your *** if u want to roll with 2 ... the unique needs to be reassesed as far as i know the leeching shield is only avialable as a 1st time turn in

ixie✭✭✭✭✭Some of the pvp sets had unique items like this at release, they changed it at some point so you could have more than one equipped.

✭✭✭✭✭The IC first came out, Mara's Blessing (WGT) and Grievous Ward (ICP) were Willpower and Endurance, respectively. They changed them to SPC and Leeching for OT (these are entirely new items, so the changes are not retroactive). The original versions had an issue where they couldn't be re-enchanted and required a patch to fix. I guess when they created these new versions, they repeated that mistake.
Anyway, most of the named items in the game are not flagged as unique. So the problem isn't that they should allow multiple copies of an "unique" item. I have two Jakalor's Ice Staves equipped on my Cryomancer (it became an item of the Ysgramor set after 1T so it is useful now).Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.
