Every a**hole with a weapon was challenging me to duel. Every dolmen and WB was either cleared or camped by a dozen+ players (will be worse during Witches Festival).

Yes.. this. Can't wait for console's turn!

I did all of the pledges and tried to figure out WTH 1 & 2 really meant.

Spent the rest of my time sorting through my inventory trying to figure out how on earth I am going to store all of these new sets. (even as a subscriber)

@Khaos_Bane Did you figure out what 1 & 2 meant?

Yeah, all those new sets.. gone are the days I can hoard and just randomly try new stuff

@MissBizz , yes I THINK so. Our group originally thought that 2 was hardmode, so we didn't even bother to look for the harmode book in Arx 1, so only got one key. Now I think I correctly understand that 2 just means the additional story line that used to apply to SOME VET dungeons before this patch. We can actually do hardmode even in the vet 1 dungeons.

Is that close? Just seems very confusing to me. Please let me know if I am wrong, thank you.

That's exactly it. 1 and 2 ONLY refer to which story it is. So Wayrest Sewers 1 has the "come to me my minions" guy with the rats, and Wayrest Sewers 2 has the two bosses at the end. If you kill the zombies near the final bosses in Wayrest 2... THAT would be hard mode.

So last night, you could have done Wayrest 2 (second half of the story) in normal for 1 key, in veteran difficulty for 1 key, or kill the zombies in the final room while the bosses are up (hard mode) to get 2 keys!

So just think of them as totally separate dungeons. Normal and vet now only means the difficulty of the dungeon, not the story.

All 3 pledges can be completed in the difficulty of your choice. You can do all 3 in normal, all 3 in vet, or one in normal 2 in vet etc.

Logged in right after the servers came up and spent all my undaunted keys, ended up getting the 3 or 4 shoulders I wanted in the perfect weight and trait (thank you RNGesus for my med divines Velidreth). Spent a good portion of that time standing around the undaunted chests correcting people about how they work in /say. ZOS really needs some form of messaging about how these things work outside of patch notes.

Came back that evening to be part of the aforementioned Wrothgar zerg, that was fun. Poor bosses couldn't even make it to their first mechanic :naughty:

Went to try a couple of the undaunted dailies when I discovered that the addition of weapon ultimates had hopelessly confused my skill-bar-swapping addon. If you think the scaling of the delves has made them more difficult, try them with a completely random assortment of skills on your bar!

Then it was time for dungeons. Vet Wayrest II, first group of trash mobs and I'm thinking "OMG do I really need to use my ultimate on the trash mobs?!" Those guys are tanky af now. Walloped the dungeon on hard mode, just took A LOT longer than it used to. Tried to suppress the "Oh I got a helm" reaction since you always get a helm now. @Elephant42 gave me the Impen Malubeth helm he got, so more effective Maluplar trolling is in the cards.

OMG the loot. Always more and more set loot.

Finished up the night with vet Arx. Not quite as much of a difficulty buff as vet Wayrest II but still a big step up from the old normal. Last boss was brutal if you stood in her AOE lightning thing. One of our group members DCd and was able to use the awesome little skip-to-the-end-of-the-dungeon portals. Thanks for those ZOS.

Overall lots of fun. Won't be able to run 7-10 dungeons in an evening anymore and I see that as a good thing. Was great to join a guild event and not care about what alliance my character was on. All the undaunted enclave duels were annoying but I imagine that will die down soon.

@MissBizz Thank you. And just for some more clarification. For example, a dungeon that only has one story mode (Arx 1). You can still get two key buy doing Vet Arx 1 and clicking the hard mode book correct ?

You are correct! @Khaos_Bane :) That means ALSO, when Wayrest 1 is the pledge... at the final boss there will be a book you can read to activate hard mode. So all "1" dungeons, and non-dlc dungeons with only one story will have that book.

Pretty much did what I said I would in the other thread before the update :)
Logged in, noticed all the new people in Riften. Met up with a guildie that managed to get in pretty soon after the servers went up. We had a few duels. Then I went to the main cities for each alliance to see the population. It was crazy how many people were around. I'd add screenshots but I'm not at my computer :/ Needless to say, it was absolutely amazing. Especially Elden Root at the Undaunted place.
Then immediately went to give my first cross faction werewolf bite:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=as7JbZ-g0cY
So happy with this update. It's going to be amazing for my werewolf guild, which was multifaction anyway. But now we can give our free bites to anyone, alliance doesn't matter anymore, and our meetups are no longer forced to be in Cyrodiil! :)
Then I did my writs. Found out I couldn't go to Craglorn since it was wiped. Dueled my brother. Lost :D Found someone in Craglorn and got things handed in.
Did a few random dungeons. Was a great introduction to this update! :)

Logged in and was a little disappointed to find out that my writs were now to be delivered to Craglorn instead of Wrothgar. Not a deal killer, but I love Wrothgar...

Spent about 15 minutes squaring away my UI and add ons (as is usual with every patch or update). No drama here

Spent most of that 15 minutes declining the 40 or so duel requests because I made the tragic mistake of standing still in town for a moment looking all bad ass or something I guess...

Found the tab to auto turn off duel requests and was able to continue looking at a few new features all the while smiling at the "duel request declined" pop up info that almost continuously appeared in the corner of my screen.

And that was about it for the first night. I'm in my grind week at work, so I can't really play much until Friday evening.

Oh man, though I remain skeptical of global level scaling, I can't deny the enthusiasm of all these responses is contagious. Unfortunately, I had to work late last night and really only had time to run through the missions and delve around Lower Yorgrim on a character who's in what was once known as Silver. Looking forward to the weekend to actually put some time in. Craglorn, here I come!

First, recovered my waypoints to Craglorn now that writs are turned in there.

Second, spent the night telling all the hooligans to get off of my lawns in Rawl'Kha. My town, my houses, welcome to Rawl'Kha, now go home.

I love seeing so many people in the cities. It reminded me of early access :)

I grouped up with @RinaldoGandolphi and @Minno, collected all my saved treasure maps, and went in alphabetical order to each zone. We linked goodies in group chat and traded different pieces. There is so much loot now its fantastic. Though I can see inventory is going to be an issue again. No complaints though I would rather have too much loot then not enough.

Once I finished my treasure maps I opened a few undaunted chests and got a few decent shoulders: Selene, Ilambris, Grothdar?, and then we got a friend to heal Selene's Web. Selene is back to being a tough boss with hard mode activated. Got to dodge that bear lol!

I then grouped with another friend and we did the Mages, Fighters and Undaunted dailies. I like these a lot. Fighter's guild was in Rivenspire and I did some dolmens with @Rohamad_Ali

I did Wayrest and Arx pledges. Arx I rarely ever do and it seemed really long but not much different in difficulty. Wayrest 2 they increased the trash mob health so it actually took longer then 10 minutes to complete.

I still have several characters with 40+ undaunted keys to spend so I'm good on pledges for a long while

Overall I am very happy with the update. The dueling is fun, having a reason to go to old zones that are now viable for loot and exp is great, and I even enjoy the banter in zone chat between the different factions.

I run some bosses and group dungeons for a hour, dueled in wayrest, rawl and hammerdeath for a few hours, ran more dungeons, then decided to go check out Craglorn before going to bed.

That's where I met 2 nearly identical EP flawless conquerer argonian stamina templars named Boombloom and Bloomboom who were literally speed dueling. Full buffs and offense damage no food buffs or blocking or dodging and they finished about 6-8 duels a minute.

While I was watching from /sitchair, we got into a conversation through /say about flawless conquerer (since I have it too) and we discussed builds, times, number of tries it took etc. It took me about 2 minutes to realize they were both talking at the same time but they would interchange short phrases, or their conversational topics would be close enough to have continuity and not derail the conversation. We then wound up in some dungeons for achievements. Overall an unique ending for the night.

Agreed! When I first saw the wayrest undaunted tent, it was like seeing the game for the first time back in 2014. People everywhere trying to make sense of the fun mess they purchased!

Before this update this area, and many others, looked like it belonged in fallout 4; scarce amount of players looking like they were hovering around trying to score some Jet lol.

So, as I had planned, I immediately went over to the Undaunted Enclave in Stormhaven and started using my keys. I got the exact shoulder I wanted within five keys, so I switched over to the left chest to see what drops I would get, and used my last 20 keys on the right. Afterwards, I sold all the bad drops (Prosperous and Training. Yuck.) and did both Pledges.

Pretty good first day of One Tamriel. :)

Hey everyone! We've had what your plans were for One Tamriel, so what did you actually end up doing?? Tell you first One Tamriel story!
Looked up the new (and old) armor set drop locations, decided on a set i was interested in, took one of my "treasure hunter" chars to that zone, ran to the first chest i saw which was a "master" chest, opened it and found a purple set piece for the set i wanted with perfect traits.

Went and poured myself a large Jägermeister and kept farming chests until i had 5 good pieces.

    My experience so far:

Logged on my Templar main. He was parked in what's normally an empty Ad zone for the DC faction. As soon as I ported I saw around 5 AD faction symbols. I use this symbol to help me find enemies in PVP and as soon as I entered the zone my adrenaline was raised; "die you pompous elves!"

I traveled across the zones trying to find the best way to get some gear. Met lots of players, got beat by a few bosses since I was expecting pre-1T results, and overall there's life in the zones again.

Hung out with some friends to try out the pledges and Selene's web was finally complete on my Templar (no one before this update wanted to run the dungeon so I was left out :( ).

Overall, I approve of the patch. This might change once I get back into pvp with my new gear. Forever the masochist lol.

My initial thought was 'wow, nicely done'. Groups all over the place. So that was a great feeling. But shortly after I started noticing a lot of hostility from a number of people. They dislike how 'we', the new players, end up having 18K health, they dislike how we can now partake in 'their' content. How we are stealing 'their' mobs. Then again, we do serve purpose as meatshields, so there's that. So far I only ever had 2-3 people on ignore, yesterday I ended up tossing tenfold of that on ignore. I actually switched servers.

So my experience, my story in One Tamriel, is kind of bittersweet.

I'm loving the MMO aspect of it, but I kind of hate how a precious few hijack the entire concept to turn it into a 'them vs us'.

For night 2 in One Tamriel I'm trying to decide on whether I'll start doing Craglorn, or whether I'll start going and doing world bosses to try to get an idea for which ones are still soloable (albeit more difficult), and which ones now really require a group.

Oh, or maybe I should grab some Fighters Guild dailies and go do a bunch of dolmens!

Pretty much this except had to turn on decline duel after the 10th request trying to just sell my junk to a vendor. No idea why they allowed dueling in towns it's so annoying.

I tested grinding in Rkindaleft, and can report that XP has indeed been nerfed into the ground there. Made XP faster grinding outside. Did a bunch of pickpocketing for some quick cash. Will head out to the new and improved Craglorn this weekend.

Well that's just stupid. I've been enjoying seeing people of all levels all over the place. I like being able to run around any zone as a level 50 CP561 and not feel like I'm ruining the experience of any lowbies around me, and I like that lowbies are now able to go to zones where they would have been slaughtered before and actually be able to complete the quests and stuff.

You're too good to group with me or something?
