ICP 2nd last boss

    Wow...*** lol. Yesterday they had a total of 4.4m health. Now they have that each. Good troll zos. Now they are the longest fight in dungeon history.

    Probably to prevent stack and burn. Tank now has to take beserker and knight. Healer stands on templar and bashes and dps take out necro.

    Surely though you get overwhelmed by colossus before you kill the 3rd and 4th ones though?

    Lol zos have done a right *** up with this update. No doubt otho in wgt has 60m health now.

    @DRXHarbinger Alright, I'm out of the ICP farm. Really can't be bothered doing it with a 30 minute fight on a mini boss. Don't get me wrong I'm glad they buffed up ICP in difficulty, but not in this way. If anything it should be like it was before it was nerfed.

    Yeah ZOS seriously screwed up with the dungeon difficulty.
    Heck, leave the old dungeons as they were, those were fine. Buff (some of) the new dungeons. It's not about giving veteran players a challenge; it's about making it playable for the less-experienced and/or casual players.

    I'm looking forward to try tbs+scathing on my mNB, was hoping to get 3 scathing jewelry and using head/shoulders since no optimal monster set for mNB anyway. It probably won't be a viable alternative to IA 3 piece though.

    I've been stocking trophies too, but so sad to hear jewelry don't drop from vaults :(

    Did on vet today with a CP cap pick up group. We stacked and burned, but yea it too a lot longer than normal.

    I feel like they adjusted this boss encounter health on an individual basis rather than the totally health. Lol It was fun.

    I like the fact that some bosses now hit hard and have enough hp so you get to see all their mechanics. And it's not like all bosses hit that hard. There are still enough vet dungeons that can be tanked with 21k hp and a destro staff on your off bar (or any other tank-dd hybrid builds).

    Hehe yeah you lucky with your trophies :P I just don't have the need for scathing anymore now that I found out that Julianos and TBS give the same results. I'm not wasting time farming anything now, just want to enjoy the trials and other game aspects. Ilambris and Kra'agh is enough stuff to farm for me lol.

    @DPShiro NBs are the only class that can use necropotence and molag kena and not screw their rotation. Necro, Aether, Kena = bag of stats easier rotation without Twisting Path (the duration kinda screws everything up). Use Master's staff on back bar with Clench and vMA on front bar. Molag Kena is easy to sustain with Elemental Drain and Siphonning Attacks. Try it :)

    Do the vault chests drop jewelry? If they do, it's not optimal by any means... but it's something. Doesn't specify in the patch notes.

    I'd like to see an answer for this as well, I kinda hope it's all a bit harder to do, good groups I run with can blast through every dungeon and hard mode boss, but 18mil could be a bit on the excessive side.

    nah, I'm pretty sure every of us had food on during fight. The food ran out after we were all wiped out.

    Clearly the solution is they need to make 3 hour food so it lasts the whole fight.

    Actually 2 DPS doing 30k each would get it done in just under 10 minutes. That's obviously not considering the damage the tank and healer do, but I think it's safe to say they won't be doing nearly 30k each to get them to the 5 minute mark.

    Come on.. This fight finally made me want to run the dungeon again after a long time. We actually had to follow the mechanics for the fight instead of the usual stack and burn.

    BTW PUGs will have a hard time getting past this boss fight.

    They seemed to have buffed bosses and trash across the board in the old vets - by.a.lot.

    Bloodspawn jumped from 1.4m HP to 4m as a way of example.

    Its a weird design choice (if it is indeed intended) considering they just nerfed icp,wgt and coa only to buff them

    Is it? Other old vet dungeons (possibly all of them?) have also had big health buffs for mobs and bosses. I'm not sure if this is an oversight/mistake or not.

    I am okay with the the best gear in the game being locked behind difficult encounters, but if what I am reading is accurate, this is probably a bug that will be fixed. I expect some significant across the board nerfs due to the complaining.

    That said, the people in this thread are calculating somewhere between 5-10 minutes for people doing 30k AoE dps. That means it should be significantly faster for a group doing decent DPS since AoE dps against 4 decently stacked mobs should be well over 30k.

    Lol just tried to do it. Basically be prepared to do this fight like you were doing a whole other dungeon. 2 of them are 4.4 mil and 2 others are 3.7 mil.. Oh im sorry zos i didn't know you made vICP the new trial for update 12. Make sure you go in here with a real group. Personally with ICP being the longest dungeon this fight just makes it all the more boring. ZOS never fails to be lazy and not look into what their doing. No surprise after the update. How are you going to nerf it and buff it to hell. Seems to me they were lazy and forgot. Each warden is a boss in itself.

    I would be fine with this if they compensated by removing 90% of trash in ICP.

If we die to trash (and we do, usually more than to bosses) it's because we are bored out of our minds and I'm looking over at my cat while spamming aoe. In some of the newer dungeons, the first group of trash (Crem guards, Harvester group, etc.) is slightly interesting, but there is absolutely no point in making us do the same thing over and over again. Especially now with One Tamriel, with very limited playtime I'd rather spend time in multiple dungeons each night rather than waste time on identical mob groups in the same dungeon. I ABSOLUTELY dread the middle portion of Sanctum. Ideally, it should have been manticora->one big troll/OC trash pack->troll boss->okay one more trash pack if you're into it->Ozara->serpent.

    The Secret World had the right idea -- minimal trash in dungeons, just interesting boss fights. I think the boss fights in ESO are just as good, you just need to take out the trash (ahem)

    He's generalising. Add in taking out bone colossus and the healer going to full health in 2s. A death or so then it's going to be a long fight.
