ICP 2nd last boss

Just a lovely day in vICP. Wait what? 17.8M hp in total?

We got a 546 tank, 574 and 297 dps, 442 healer, and get stuck at 40% total hp. We all know the mechanics well.

We were able to do the original version EASILY, but ZOS, SERIOUSLY?

There are four 4M health bosses at the same time, and they hit harder as their health dropped.

Are we encountering bug? Or did you just buffed these bosses to kick players' ass?

    Wow...*** lol. Yesterday they had a total of 4.4m health. Now they have that each. Good troll zos. Now they are the longest fight in dungeon history.

    Probably to prevent stack and burn. Tank now has to take beserker and knight. Healer stands on templar and bashes and dps take out necro.

    Surely though you get overwhelmed by colossus before you kill the 3rd and 4th ones though?

    Lol zos have done a right *** up with this update. No doubt otho in wgt has 60m health now.

    I'd like to see an answer for this as well, I kinda hope it's all a bit harder to do, good groups I run with can blast through every dungeon and hard mode boss, but 18mil could be a bit on the excessive side.

    nah, I'm pretty sure every of us had food on during fight. The food ran out after we were all wiped out.

    Yeah, I'm not running that on Veteran then. :D

    Maybe 1.5 million health each would be better? 6 million health total would make for a perfectly long fight.

    Makes me wonder how you're supposed to get the speedrun now. In any case, ICP is already one of my least favorite dungeons purely because of how long it is... so, I'll be passing on this one if it doesn't get retooled.

    Wow, this is insane! I'm happy they are buffing vets, but that is far more than I thought they would do. How do the other bosses in some of the dungeons look in comparison to before the update?

    ZOS recently buffed the health and damage of the new vet dungeons after people whined about them being too easy, but probably screwed something up along the way that affected the existing vet dungeons. Now it's damage sponges and one shots all over. The above example is one. Other examples include Valkyn Skoria having 6 mil health in hard mode, making him a ridiculous dps race. Selene also has 6 mil health and one shots people through block.

    It's like they took the worst aspects of the Hist dungeons/vet trials and added them to all the base game dungeons. Bloody hell. If this is ZOS' idea of "challenge" I'll probably be avoiding pledges from now on.

    Everything in group dungeons got buffed across the board.

    Did vet wayrest II last evening as pledge, only to notice everything had substantially more HP, ranging from trash mobs to the bosses. Seen mechanics I ain't seen in a long time.

    It isn´t that hard to be honest, but I was also shocked when I saw the amount of HP they had xD. To compare, lord warden has about 4 million HP I think.

    Good way to alienate the players that lack incredibly high dps output. If that was your goal then well done ZOS :)

    yeah but you can't assume everyone can reach 30k. They can put the hardest one in the boss scroll, but meduim-level group can't even get there. This doesn't make any sense lol....

    Seriously, more health was the way to force mechanics compliance, so I applaud that...but there is a point where one shot mechanics are just stupid cheap difficulty. So if you raise health AND damage in one go, it ought to be a little, not 4x.

    Then again, I did die four times on Drodda in Direfrost because I'm an idiot and have to unlearn "block huge red AOE" in my muscle memory.

    Actually 2 DPS doing 30k each would get it done in just under 10 minutes. That's obviously not considering the damage the tank and healer do, but I think it's safe to say they won't be doing nearly 30k each to get them to the 5 minute mark.

    But I think the point is it isn't supposed to be blockable (at least if I understand ZOS correctly with their intentions here). You're meant to roll dodge it. Everything else with her AFAIK you can block, but to be fair, I have only run it once and with my stellar tank friend.

    Kind of like how ZOS didn't mean for trials to be stack and burn, but people did that because it worked, then they changed them to be (to my knowledge) un-S&Bable. The playerbase had to adapt and actually follow mechanics.

    Then I disagree with how they designed this fight the same way I disagree with Rillis's apparent new powers over death, and I think they need to start seriously looking at how the newly implimented scaling is effecting the game in places.

    9m health each. ÷ 30,000 = 300s. 5 mins.

    I like the fact that some bosses now hit hard and have enough hp so you get to see all their mechanics. And it's not like all bosses hit that hard. There are still enough vet dungeons that can be tanked with 21k hp and a destro staff on your off bar (or any other tank-dd hybrid builds).

    @DRXHarbinger Alright, I'm out of the ICP farm. Really can't be bothered doing it with a 30 minute fight on a mini boss. Don't get me wrong I'm glad they buffed up ICP in difficulty, but not in this way. If anything it should be like it was before it was nerfed.

    yeah we did ICP vet pledge today and we normally just group those up in vet and burn them all down, not today it took alot longer.
