World boss difficulty? Come on.

Alright Zenimax, jesus christ what's wrong with your world boss difficulty? I did Stonefalls, two of the bosses (the netch and the dreugr) I soloed without too much difficulty, the third one, the Golden Saint at Shivering Shrine, we were 3 max CP level players, and yet she killed us all 4-5 times before going down. Her flame whip pretty much instakilling anyone despite blocking, having full health on and a shield etc.

The difficulty on these seem hugely different. Is there a reason why some of them can be soloed quite easily, and one takes 3-4 maxed people to go down, and even then you die? Would be nice if they were at least around the same difficulty.

    Probably to have a mix of solo and group content to make everyone happy. I personally don't mind it

    Get more people and don't forget the 5 Ds, Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive and Dodge.
    I love this new difficulty. Requires a lot of people to take them down. Actually feels like a world BOSS instead of a cupcake.

    There are people looking for gear drops in all zones . Give a shout out in zone chat . Most people are happy to help now with the chance at good gear .

    The difficulty varies greatly.

    The spider on in the North part of the second blue zone took me forever on test while others were just a health grind.

    And right after I made this post, someone asked for help with Shivering Shrine in zone chat, saying they were already 3 people there.

    I mean, getting 3 people to help you kill a world boss is an achievement in itself in some of these dead zones, how many does ZOS actually think we need to kill it? And delve bosses are already extremely soloable, being pretty much a walkover. Why should delve bosses be incredibly easy and world bosses so much harder?

    People have bitched and moaned about the world difficulty for months, maybe years... they hook it up with a dash of difficulty and people are here, complaining.

    I can't wait to try out the world bosses.

    Yes, this is exactly my point. World bosses should have the same overall difficulty, whether it's "harder" or "easier". Right now you're just taking a gamble, sometimes you can solo them pretty much easily, other times you get rn over even in a group. Makes no sense.

    A world boss should take at least 10 people. In that same respect they should drop gold quality set items.

    I think their point is to identify difficulty consistently. I prefer harder but there is a lot of confusion
    Fair enough there could be a better way to keep the same set up with different ui indicators for monsters not using cp but some other bracket or what not

    Some elite type players complained about difficulty being too easy as they still will.
    Other players play for fun more casually.
    Needs to be a balance between the two a difficulty setting would be the solution but won't happen.

    Yeah while some of the world overland bosses are soloable, some are even harder than the 4 man dungeon bosses. Makes very little sense. It's not as if these harder bosses give any better loot or rewards than their easier counterparts.

    Don't really see the point of this difficulty. Dark anchors are soloable, delves are soloable, why shouldn't world bosses be soloable as well, when the reward are exactly the same.

    I soloed Soulfire Plateau in Auridon, a recognized nightmare to all starters, and I was like "Why... won't... you... die, damn you".

    But being unable to mitigate part of the damage is [SNIP]. The boss in Fulgal Grotto I.. that one got me by surprise one-shotting whoever was on melee.

    The patch notes list the World Bosses that got redesigned and buffed. My guess is they plan to redesign all the World Bosses eventually, but have started with just 1 or 2 in each zone.

    That golden saint surprisingly kicked my ass on silver. Took a lot of shielding, dodging/streaking, and healing to finally get her.

    Not surprised she's still hard.

    I think some people are missing the point. Why such the big gap between difficulty?
    That is 1 thing with zos I don't understand, being inconsistent with everything.

    No they shouldn't.

    The game should offer different and varying experience.

    I absolutely hate the Wrothgar World Boss Zoolander the Reborn, hate it but other people love it. I had to figure out how to solo him which I only did once and will never try again.

    They are designed for groups of people but if you have a solid self sustain build you will be able to handle most of these by yourself even if you have to re learn some mechanics.

    The fact you putting forth the idea they should all be roughly the same is honestly boring.

    I hate group world boss content because sooner or later people stop farming it then newer players are stuck getting their ass kicked by world bosses begging for help in zone chat getting frustrated with the game instead of enjoying it. That's me and I'm not with you, just a suggestion you should work your argument if you can't get me all your going to get is your chronic complainers.

    I haven't checked on live yet, but on PTS that was interruptable. A friend and I were duoing all the new ones there and once we noticed the telegraph for that, she went down fairly easily.

    you did solo 2 WB boses, so why expecting every WB boss to be same?

    I havent personally tried out the new World bosses, but having these actually be a challenge sounds kinda cool compared to how easy they used to be.

    That wouldn't work in the long run. Right now people are farming like crazy for the new sets and even that only happens in a few select zones. A few months down the line most of the overland areas will be completely deserted again and getting 10 people together will be nigh impossible.

    You could read the patch notes which lists which ones are harder. I like they made them difficult.
