World boss difficulty? Come on.

    I did 2 world bosses solo on my Templar spamming heavy attacks with resto staff and puncturing sweep, refreshing healing ward and kiting them a bit when things got hairy. It went on for ~10 minutes. I did most of the others in groups of 3-5 players and it was very easy, even using basic skills from one bar. Duoed the nirncrux mines in Upper Craglorn with a lowbie player later. That was with level 44 blue training gear and crusty bread on a CP cap char. When I changed to CP160 gold gear and blue food I can probably do that in 2 minutes without breaking a sweat. Soloed Spellscar, Elinhir and a couple of delves I wasn't able to clear with my gimped-on-purpose-to-emulate-a-weak-player-setup earlier. All are still marked as group activities though they removed the pesky mechanics that were in place to prevent soloing (ex. you can now gather all essences from Spellscar).

    Buffing the world bosses is one of the best things ZOS has done for PvE. I actually enjoy soloing them now.

    If you can't group up on a very short list of encounters that require 2 or more (in an MMO) ...

    Why can't they scale like dark anchors, so if someone like me comes along they have one level of health and if a player with a ninjas reflexes that spews out a million times the dps it will adapt to that instead. As long as it can't be one shotted it could get bonus health and damage based on how fast it looses its total health. Basically the harder and faster you hit it the harder it hits back and the tougher it becomes.

    I liked the world bosses in hews bane but finding a group for them since one tamriel is like looking for unicorn snot :s

    I might add that most world bosses are camped on extensively, because people are farming the zone sets, and often times you can barley get a shot in to claim credit, loot and XP. The zergs have thinned a bit, because they are just farming Wrothgar for double loot, but they will most likely return in force once that event is over. Poor Bittergreen ... :(

    The worldboss camping has died down significantly. That said, it's normally pretty trivial to get the 1-3 extra people you need to get the kill in zone chat.

    Also, patient tanks can solo almost every wold boss. Assuming, of course, you have a self-sufficient build.

    If you want a challenge, take on those ones in Craglorn. Those are tougher to solo.

    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    A world boss should take at least 10 people. In that same respect they should drop gold quality set items.

    I would love to have "raid" bosses occasionally pop in the world... huge things that would take a minimum of 20-25 people. For a while I played Rift and that is one thing that game did REALLY well...when the call went out on chat one of those was up, players would flock from all over the map. Besides dropping great loot, there was always the chance of them dropping a mount, or a cosmetic pet, or something like that. Tons of fun.

    Once I was a lamb, playing in a green field. Then the wolves came. Now I am an eagle and I fly in a different universe.

    I must agree tbh, I'm not great geared on alts but some are even easier than they were pre patch and after leveling another toon recently some are even easier at lower levels b'cos of the 'battle scaling'

    Actually, I've soloed a few of them!

    As long as a boss doesn't have a DPS check, instant kill, or unpurgable immobilize, you can solo it.

    The tricky part with soloing in craiglorn is that you will always have farmers coming to help outside of group delves.

    Worldbosses: The reason for their difficulty will evaporate when the love for One Tam dies down, and it allready is.

    Like much of One Tamriels 'balance', I can still solo it. It just takes longer. Shakin' muh head yet again.

    Also, Soulfire plateau needed buffed? Really? Bahahahaha.

    I have been farming Aesar and the near by dolmen this weekend and found that world boss pretty soloable. My clanfear usually gets the agro and used as a tank and I keep hardened ward up to keep it alive while using the storm astronach ultimate, crystal shards, light and heavy attacks and destructive reach, while also keeping my magika up with dark exchange. Takes a few minutes but it goes down. Other world bosses in the area I die within seconds (forget the name but it had the gargoyle and mages), I think it really depends on the build for each world boss, maybe need to take a different approach to each one? Some seem soloable, others not even close with my gimpy build.

    Well I can solo them. If there isn't any lag. I can solo them. Tough but I can still beat them.
