It took me quite a while to get to stage 7 on my first time through the maelstrom. Took a break for 2 days and went back to it today and had to pick up the quest again for some reason and it completely reset the arena. Thanks zenimax.

You never lost your progress, so yeah. If you still have the quest from Veteran mode, where it should still be on "survive/enter [whatever the hell the arena 7 name is]", it'll still be at that point when you come back.0 -
