A tank with 33K magicka and 3000+ spell power. I'm not doing much damage to their tank, no. The DPS wouldn't come near me because they would have certainly died.

I have other videos of me killing plenty of groups of players, they aren't a better display of how OP magicka Templar is though. To say I have no damage would just be a lie.

You can see them fight 20 people at once with around 25k HP and not die while killing at least 5. It's broken how Templars can go from 5% HP to 100% HP without any sustain issues what so ever. Add Bats and Mist Form to it and you get a full on killing tank.

Am I the only person who finds Vampire Templar ironic and wrong? I really wish the Aedric element of the class were played up a bit more. Skills like Purge, Circle of Protection, Barrier, etc all feel like Templar themed skills as well (there are other Out of Class skills that seem like other classes abilities). The point here is that I really wish there were a Guild or Skill line that allowed the player to get a boost for not being a monster, just so we didn't feel stupid in pvp for not picking up vampire. I'm not sure how I held out for so many years in pvp NOT using Vampire, particularly in the era of BatSwarm DK's. The truth is I expected them to fix it, but then they didn't. I like Vampire as it stands, but they need to create a skill line alternative. It shouldn't be Monsters online.

They get AP based on amount of dmg they can take with all 7 heavy armour equipped.

From my understanding after reading bunch of forum topics are people should play a DPS and at least able to die in 5 seconds if they survive, the whole class and heavy armor needs a nerf.

All I saw was two templars healbotting through anywhere between 1 and 5 EP (only 3 of which were actual dps) until the end where they died, with neither templar getting any kills..

Could've just as easily been 2 DKs tanking, 2 NBs stealthing/dodging, 2 Sorcs streaking/shielding.. except those classes would've killed something.

Gotta ask...when was this supposed to be broken? Troll-y sure, but just because you are tough doesn't make you a great OP build. You didn't kill a single person, unless I missed it. You got some kill player progress from the two upstairs, BOLd until you had no magic, then got killed.

Your dmg was kind of lame. Anyone can make a tanky Templar. It's pretty easy and 90% of Templars are low dmg tanks like this one. Nothing op in this video.

Magic Templar despite its good things can't compete with any stamina build in any thing surviving will net you zero AP.

I get up to 7 times the ap (average of four times) on my stam sorc and stam DK then I do on my Magplar. Now obviously there is some variability but I tracked this over several 30 day capaigns. A magplar is fine in groups but you try radianting stam builds when you are alone you are going to get obliterated. I have fun just bashing magplars and I run the interrupt poison arrow instead of poison injection. Sweeps javelin do little damage only radiant does actual damage. Dark flare misses a lot and is hard to pull off in lag aside from its long cast time well beyond the cast time tooltip.
