To be fair though, the poisons that OP is complaining about are really only useful at all in PVP. A nerf to them wouldn't affect PVE at all.Pangnirtung wrote: »Again a PVP concern that has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with PVE.
Does anyone have real numbers of PVP vs. PVE players.
It seems like a small vocal PVP minority is having an impact on overall game play for those of us who never PVP.
Enough with the nerfs.

Please, and thank you.
@UltimaJoe777 I think nobody plays Azura because the game is balanced around CP, which makes non-cp fights subpar for a number of reasons.
Or at least add "to NPC enemies" so PVE people can still make use of poisons. After killing the same four yellows, they finally came back with a guy using the 60% increase magicka poison. After 1 blazing shield my magicka reserves were run dry and I died lol
You're enabling people with no skill to win fights instead of learning how to play the game. Now I know a lot of skilled people use them too, but they are over the god damn top.
I don't want them nerfed, I just want them gone from PVP, forever.
You've had your fun, now let's get rid of them.
Yours with paws,
Aluc.. wait that's not my line.

Probably, those who use poisons would tell the same about radiant, wrecking blow, poison iniection or anything they don't like...Beside, poisons at least cannot be spammed, since they proc only 20% of times, while other skills can...
True enough, but we're talking about something that makes your skills cost 60% more. Just another way to help big groups crush smaller ones.
Every one of those skills you listed has a counter. There is little to no counter when your resource pool all of a sudden dries up because you were poisoned. If they worked in a way that would diminish your pool over time, that might make it more manageable, but it just sucks it all up after a couple of abilities, and it is rather hard to tell when you've been poisoned which makes it worse.
Come on, it's just for 6.4 seconds. You don't die if you pay a javelin 3200 mag instead of 2000 (I don't have my templar now, can't check) for 6.4 sec, neither you don't run out of magicka. You can use light/heavy attacks which cost nothing (counter...).
Let's say, if in those six secs you cast three skill, your increased cost will be of 3-4k magicka. It's not exactly a death sentence...

They already did in 2 campaigns. However, almost nobody goes to Azura's Star...

Lose some useful armor traits, stack poison resistances in my CPs so I get crapped on by magicka builds, roll an argonian. Sounds like a plan. At least I wouldn't be giving up much to fight off poisons.

And yet there are multiple threads everyday about one-shot, burst damage too high, no skill proc sets ruining the game. Is the game a tanking contest or a burst damage competition?
