@Memnock - pets aren't that difficult to control really. Just hold down the pet action and hit block for them to go passive, attack for them to attack the target you're aiming at. Also, rumor has it ZOS is saving frost for the redesigned Warden class down the road.
I mean, come on, Necromancy isn't in the game and isn't coming anytime soon, don't remove my Daedric summoning too!
I say they should get rid of pets all together and add a different skill line in
I mean , come on , i have never seen a sorc going into high end content with a pet build. Its outperformed by anything else.
To be honest , the best solution would be to have pets removed and that tree redesigned into something else , my suggestion is to make it an ICE oriented tree , since this elemental aspect is not really represented properly in the game compared to fire and lightning.
what i have never understood is why the clanfear states physical damage and yet their tooltip is lower on a stam sorc than it is on a magic sorc.... but its physical damage. PHYSICAL DAMAGE!
The twilight heal wouldn't be viable if it wasn't toggle. Toggles are good because you don't have to think about recasting them (unless you zone in out...seriously why is it still like that?)

Ummm nope.. Pet alive? Cast skill. Pet dead? Summon pet. There isnt easier logical statement than this.

Veteran Sanctum Ophidia, Veteran He-Ra Citadel, all Veteran Dungeons... final round of VMA (which I'm horrible at, but I still made it to the end) is that "high end" enough content for you?
I can only LOL at suggesting a Frost oriented tree on the one class that already has a Shock based tree.
