I can barely not swear you at this point. Just because you are too much of a bad player not to do it doesn`t mean it should be easier. IT IS EASY for good players, hard for average ones and impossible for bad players.

So if you are a bad player and can`t get it, its called design. Its the best weapon set available. If it would be placed in the hardest group content you would also not have it, so why even bring it up?

The sense of entitlement is strong here, people who admit are bad and can`t do it expect to still get the reward. Why? Well because they pay and should be the best!

Let me explain it to you old man, this is not what games are about. You want the best stuff, you need to do the hardest content. If maaaany others do it, some with no deaths and in 35 minutes.... its clearly not impossible. So work your way through it and get the reward or if not just keep it shut and get better.

When did it became ok for every bad player out there to cry and beg and shame himself all over the forums to somehow get the content he is too bad to finish nerfed?

How much older? *Looks at @AddiZ suspiciously* I'm not exactly a korean dota player either (35) and I can complete it. The first complete took me many many hours, like upwards of 20 hours over several days. I spent the last 2-3 weeks doing it at least twice a day, and now I can do it in just under an hour. My last run I just broke the 510k score mark. I can't do the normal version in under 45mins so you already have something on me if you can do it in 20. Don't give up

It's doable but I reccomend not using a Mag DK. If you're familiar to the mag style I reccomend Sorc.

But if you're familiar with stam (need faster reactions etc) then use a stam sorc.

With Mag Templar it's ok but I prefer using mag sorc or nightblade over Templar in VMA.

I'm a flawless 500k+ Mag Dk so I know my stuff

I'm good at vma but I don't run competitively, just do it once on each character to get the weekly.

The problem isn't that your asking for scaling, its that your asking for scaling and rewards.

I am fine with it being hard but after you die countless times or so cant they increase the health after 15 deaths like they decrease the health after 15 deaths so that we poor souls that never are able to finish this content can get a break.

You're not fine with it being hard or this thread wouldn't exist, and hard is hard until it's not. What possible satisfaction could you gain from an easy victory?

There is another one i do in 60minutes with out dying. Just think about kill priority and what you are doing wrong if you finish it once you will only get bettter

The amount of: Disrespect, inconsideration, and flat-out rudeness in this thread is highly disturbing. Whatever happened to showing respect to your elders...? Or is it because it's over the Internet, that said manners and kindness may be excused?

Older games should have more experience. I'm 30 and been gaming for 26 years solid. #livingthegoodlife.

Plus we are yet to find out how old. If he's 73 or so then fair play to the guy, if he's 40 and complaining then....more trolls required.

If it's not fun to you, don't play it.
It sucks if you want Maelstroem weapons, but you can do fine without such a weapon too. Especially with the next update where *everything* will be available for all slots, you'll be able to do 5+5+1, and many monster sets have powerful 1 piece bonus, so you can play fine without a vMA weapon.

But from the tone of your post, I don't think you'll give up. You're just fed up right now but you'll go back to it and beat it !

I wish I was motivated myself for completing it. But I'm not. So I just don't play it. Might change some day.

You are fast and do pretty decent damage. Focus more on resource management, interupts and stay alive, instead of DPS rotation. Keep your eyes on the whole event, not just your current target. Throw in light/heavy attacks as well.

It's definitely achievable so I'd spend more time learning and less time complaining. We all had to learn the place at one point. Also, Korean doto is meh.

I'm a bit over 40, still new to the game and have yet to finish MA at normal level. It makes me sad.. I'm slowly getting there as I learn to play better.

But I will say to all the 'youngsters'.. enjoy those reflexes because they do not last. It is a slow and sneaky bleed that will take you be surprise. And it will make you sad too (most likely).

On a more serious note to everyone, especially the older players, keep playing this sort of stuff. I work with advanced Alzheimer patients, playing games like this will help your brain so much down the line.

There is way harder content (vMoL HM).
If you're doing vMA for the weapons, you will never get them. If you're doing it for the content, it's quite a challenge. But it also teaches you to play your class and shows the potential (which, in the end, is actually way higher than what's needed to finish vMA). Gold pledges will seem like solo dungeons to you.

yes the stamina DK is good, but the most nerfed class in the game is the magica DK and its just not possible!

Simply not true.
I finished with my mag DK, and I usually play tanks in dungeons.

This is a L2P issue,
what is even better... vMA is exactly what will teach you to play better.

What age bracket are you referring to?
What does age have to do with gaming ability?
Why do you assume that you inability to complete maelstrom is connected to your age? have you considered other factors? when was the last time you went to the optician for example.

Also as an 'older player' i would kindly ask that you stop QQing on our behalf, we do not all want maelstrom nerfed but most importantly you are not our elected reprasentative.

ive never believed in the auttomatically show respect to someone just because they are older than you

i have always followed the show respect to everyone when you first meet them, and adjust the level of respect you show to an individual based on your experiences with them.

for example when i was 25 and had torn a ligament in my knee resulting in me using crutches an old woman (in her 60's) decided to run her trolly into me in a supermarket knocking me to the floor, and began shouting & screaming at me to get out of her way, a 14 year old child on work experinece (stacking shelves) littrally dropped what she was doing and ran over to help me, calling for security to escort the old woman from the premises.
i know which of these women deserve my respect!
