And I remember some nights they said his organs were shutting down. After three months in a coma and his surgeries he is well but disabled today and I can't help but to think it was my fault that happened.
There's other *** things that happened to me and my family as well that began as a thought of mine and I really believed it was because of me and I saw a counselor for awhile because of it. every part of my being wants to comfort you, and tell you its not your fault, and im sure you have heard that a thousand times, from those closest to you. so hearing it from a stranger wont help.
but as someone who can be quite intuative at times i do understand where you are comming from, unfortunatley we look at it from opposite sides of the spectrum.
when i get an overwhelming sensation that something is about to happen, i begin to prepare myself for it (for example when my grandfather died) i knew it was coming & it knew it was inevitable, and that i couldnt change anything (the illness itself was short & unexpected).
unfortunatley you feel that by having the thought you are causing the action, hopefully one day you will stop blaming yourself.
