As I told someone in another thread, and as I tell people who ask just how intense VMA truly is — I figured I'd show this video clip. So just how intense is VMA...? Well... You only need a split-second to fail, and have all your progress get washed down the drain due to a poor decision or RNG. Sometimes both.

Synopsis:
In this video clip, it shows me having an edge on the final boss in VMA. The boss is low on health, and it seems like I have him on the ropes... Little did I know at the time, I was going to make a single mistake that would snowball into a few mistakes. Causing all that hard work to go down the drain, from a single split-second of misplay.

Side Note:
Yes, I did end-up beating it with my StamDK. I've beaten VMA a StamDK many times. But this clip in particular was special to me, because it was my second most peak of intense anger caused by VMA. The first causing me to break a coffee table. Luckily, nothing was broken from this incident — except for my motivation to continue for a few minutes. Lol.

oh dude, I will watch that video later after I will came home from work, but from what you are writting, I will have to check MA next time I play .

I am just a casual, no pro, so I had troubles even with the non-vetMA , but it was still great fun for me

If you are getting that worked-up over a game, you really need to think about your priorities in life and learn how to maintain some semblance of self-control.

Which class are you attempting to clear it with, and magicka or stamina? If I can clear VMA with a PetSorc relatively easy, you can definitely clear it. Promised bruh. Let me know the class type and magicka and stamina, and I'll try to post-up a clear for you.

IDK bruh. Contra, Castlevania, Mega Man, Ghosts and Goblins, Double Dragon, etc. weren't nearly as frustrating as ESO's VMA. And even now years later, the games I listed are still pretty challenging and hardcore. Especially Contra and Mega Man. VMA is on a league of its own in terms of intensity. The Dark Souls series comes slightly close, but not really. VMA requires pretty strict precision and timing. And as my video showed, the slightest misplay can cost you everything. The only relatively old game that I can think of that comes close of intensity and frustration would be the old school Ninja Gaiden.

Ch4mpTW, hope you don't take my comments the wrong way, but your main fault wasn't a "single mistake" but, mainly, not following the round mechanics.

1 - Don't hurry the fight (you did).

2 - You didn't pay attention and didn't go for the ghost that spawned at 0:08. Boss grabbed it while you had time to get it. It was your 3rd ghost, right?

3 - The boss makes his AoE explosion on 0:16, you avoid it but, instead of attacking the boss from distance (Poison Injection, bow heavy or light attack, etc.) while waiting to see where he teleports to, you go back to melee attack him. Why?

4 - After the rapid strikes you perform, you drop Hendless Hail on the spot he was about to leave (again, you should have known he was going to teleport after his AoE explosion).

5 - You were low on stamina, however, never used melee or ranged heavy attacks to recover some.

So, Endless Hail on the correct spot, Poison Injections/light attacks you didn't do plus heavy attacks would have killed him for sure.

Also, that would have get you the Flawless Dawnbreaker ulti on time.

I'm not saying yo don't know the mechanics, I know you do, just pointing out the mistakes on the video.
