Character not showing.......blacked out?

Anyone else have a black out?.........everything but my character and the town loads up and works?......a black screen with menu only. Characters do not show in the select screen either.....except the choices on the right.

Pistolera_ESO✭✭✭I had the same, but then I adjusted my settings for my screen and it seems to have fixed it.-Guildies-

Same here, I think ...
Login to character select and have a black screen with menus. I can select characters, or any of the other login screen items, and even log in with a character. All the 2D stuff, menus, etc. shows fine, but otherwise the screen is black.
Windows 10, GeForce 970 w/latest drivers.
Edit - The Live server works the same as it always has, so, it doesn't appear to be a hardware issue on my end.

Yep......exactly. Did two repairs and no help (Windows 10, GeForce 980, drivers up to date).

Yes, that does fix it......although my graphics did suffer a little (to much red now). I think it had something to do with my Nvidia GeForce experience settings.....which work fine on live, but not here on PTS.

Sense a strong force within this one I does!
But all I really did is change the resolution setting down (in the game settings) from the max to what my monitor is 1920x1080 and let it apply. I also have a nvidia geforce card, it's an old one, gtx 680 and my drivers are up to date as well.

Ignotus✭✭✭I MAY HAVE A FIX!
This happened to me on the LIVE server a while back. I posted in the support forum and posted a screenshot of it. I fixed it by deleting the shadercache.cooked file. Once it rebuilt, everything was fine. I don't believe "Repair" in the launcher was required and it did not help me anyway. Your initial login to the game will be quite a bit longer due to shadercache.cooked being rebuilt. Just wait it out. It's like the initial login following a patch maintenance.
EDIT: After rereading my support forum post on this issue, I also deleted everything in the "client" folder and ran a repair before I deleted shadercache.cooked. I don't think deleting the contents of "client" and doing the repair is what fixed it though. I also recently had an issue on LIVE where the ground was replaced with sky and water textures on the login screen and in-game. I deleted shadercache.cooked to resolve that as well I believe. Not sure why it got messed up to begin with.
EDIT:
That may actually result in the same outcome. AHA! I have this same issue. Why is the resolution changing to 2700x? my native is set to 1980x in Nvidia settings but every time i log in it changes on it's own.Edited by 85flyingbrick_ESO on September 3, 2016 9:17PMPC/NA0 -
