What would you do if you hadn't played for 6 months?

I stopped playing about 6 months ago. Not because I didn't like the game, but because I had other stuff going on. I'm a casual player.....have a few 1-20 characters but my main is a VR4 Stamblade (Range/DW). This may not be the most proficient build, but it's fun for me.

I have Orisinium (complete), Thieves Guild (barely started), Imperial City (barely used this at all). Have crafting maxed on Blacksmithing, Alchemy, Cooking, and most of the others are fairly high.

Based on what you guys have experienced in the game over the last six months, what would you focus on starting new?

Personally I'd recommend playing through the Thieves Guild DLC if you like questing in ESO as I really enjoyed it and thought it had great writing and awesome characters.

Also just doing whatever you enjoy to get up some levels as VR's don't exist anymore and have been fully replaced by Champion Points, so see what CP you are then aim to get to CP 160 (Gear Cap). Don't feel the need to grind as you really don't have to. Just do whatever you enjoy, whether that be Dungeons, PvP, questing or anything else.

I would advise looking through the forums, if there are any negative threads left (The MODS are very proactive sweeping away anything that shines a bad light on the game.)

Massive exploiting going on, Cheat Engine still being used, exploiting leader boards still, little to no communication from Z0$ on these subjects.

All i would encourage is doing research for yourself, then make a educated decesion if you want to invest more time in ESO.

Interesting....so they got rid of the VR system but people are matched based on CP? Or are all dungeons capped at 50?

What were you in for? :D There's 2 DLC's that you missed out on for sure. Take advantage of those and try them out.

Yes, mostly questing and game content. My grinding days are done, but if there's a lot of questing, crafting, fishing type stuff to do then I'm good.

They introduced the champion point system. These are account based, meaning that once you hit level fifty, you will be allocated the champion points of your account. Compared to the previous veteran levels, champion points are easier to level up, especially with the catch up mechanic.

Dungeons cap at CP160, which is equivalent to the previous VR16. I believe you will start out with forty champion points, as you had a VR4 character.

If your opinion is so low maybe you should find a new game for yourself.

I recently returned to eso as well. Had to take a break (Pun intended) after breaking my middle finger as well as suffering a severe laceration in the finger that severed my nerves and tendons. Needed to have hand surgery to re attach the tendons and repair nerves which put me in a full hand cast for 3 months (whole hand was covered because if I moved any fingers it would stretch the recently repaired tendon and rip). Up until the accident that put me in a cast. I have completed all content of the game (Cp level 860). Since I've been away for so long as well as still undergoing physical therapy to re gain mobility back in finger (doc says I'll get at most 70% mobility back in it). I am very self conscious about running end game dungeons atm. so I'm just enjoying the new dlc quest and would queue for random dungeons. I'm also considering purchasing extra character slot and leveling a new toon since the ones I have are maxed already. Hopefully soon I'll get my confidence back that I once had before the injury and be running end game content again.
