Bots Do Exist

Minding my business, grinding EXP for the Fighters Guild, and I encounter these two very obscure "players" that look entirely lost and hopeless. It was clear something was wrong... so I followed them around a bit... I'll be damned, they're bots! Now, they aren't harming me or other players in any way... but to my understanding these bots caused some sort of Anti-Bot/Cheat to be implemented that in turn caused this game to lag like a pig... especially in Cyrodiil. If these are the facts, then why have innocent players been penalized for something that has not been fixed?

You should probably remove the video or edit it to block out the players names. This thread will be closed and or removed for name and shame rule.

Best thing you can do is report them in game.

That's ridiculous. These aren't "players" or even people... they're damn bots... the same bots that ruined ESO for thousands of players.

Pretty sure those are just bad inexperienced players, not bots.

Do you not see that they have X locations where they turn? That each character does not move forward until their HP regens to X amount? Pay attention to how they moved from the wayshrine after they died. 1:10 marker. Auto run into the wayshrine... then auto run into the rock... then hit the aforementioned X location, stop and turned left... walked into NPC's and stopped, pivoted, then attacked with nearly the same rotation as every other time. Continue watching and you'll see each character take damage, and not move forward after a kill until X amount of HP is aquired. At the end, before I bagged the two bots, you'll see that when I pulled the stack... they did not alter their actions in any way or react to the incoming onslaught. Inexperienced players? They're both above CP150. This is clearly botting.

I should have done w/e I wanted to do. And that was report the act of botting. Record it. And make sure I toss a few bags in there for good measure... Just for ruining this game. Then toss it up here for other members to tell me I'm wrong. Instead of condemning the botting, you try to condemn the player exposing it.

Players could be scamming people out of $10,000's of dollars in real life, flying around and fighting like Neo from the matrix, all while duping 200 stacks of gold materials and if you have a video with their name in it... Your the one getting banned.

its just another ESO mystery. If scooby doo and crew were here, the end of every episode would be them getting hauled off for naming and shaming the ghost haunting everyone!

No one's condemning you... except for the teabagging, because, really? Are we 12 now?

We're telling you, naming and shaming is against the forum rules. You can file your complaint. But leaving this thread up is an invitation to get knocked off the forums. It's non-constructive.

Fair enough... sadly, I'm not a streamer or w/e and don't know my way around how to edit out names. For now, I'll take the ban in hopes that at least 2 bots bite dust in exchange.

As for this thread getting closed, or me banned... ZoS, just load up a DC toon on PC/NA and come on over to the Obsidian Gorge wayshrine in Deshaan and have a look at these two for yourselves. They're at the mini zombie grind here as of the time of this post.

Bots are not people, so basically showing the names in the video besides bots use names like FA0fpwafoapesfoapsfg or something like that. I guess they could use more normal looking names, so they don't look as obivous or they could be players using bots to grind while they sleep. But yeah botting is not much of a problem like it use to be thank goodness for that.
I don't think hes naming and shaming just showing the problem , if they are computer generated names never made by a player but by a bot program then its not naming and shaming because your not dirrectly shaming a player but a computer program.

It could just be folks grinding or they are doing it for gold. Either way if they are returning they are trying not to be as obvious. Its harder for them to bot now then ever before. They can't risk losing accounts, because they then would have to pay more money for more accounts. Plus the antibot measures hinder them extremly good but it does not stop them. Reason why you don't see bots, spamming their websites in zone chat anymore. Which is a very good thing, I hope the goldspammers stay gone!

Yes i saw them there yesterday on my DC toon, thought they acted kinda wierd and as for their cp level they hit like wet paper towels lol

Just seen another bot doing the same exact things near Fort Virak in Stonefalls. DC.

Edit: There's actually two bots at this location, just like two I seen in Deshaan. That's 4 bots I've seen in less than a few hours.

If they are bots, they seem to the worst programmed bots in the history of this game. Most run in groups of at least 3 and have the same execution pattern and class.

They are still in Deshaan doing the same pattern,, pulled some mobs to their location and watch them die fast.

I'm guessing some sort of account sellers that are leveling the CP to make them more valuable.

or scrubs leveling/cp buffing up multiple classes skill lines for pvp.
