LOL Ikr! I logged on first thing this morning after coming to the forums and hearing the gate camping emp got dethroned... and lo and behold what did I see? AD with one keep to go( Chal ) to emp again, the same guy. I sat for a minute kinda fuming and then watched as DC attacked Ales. I actually cheered.
This is getting out of hand and I honestly dont know what to do about it. Im standing in Cyro, right now trying to convince zone to back the *** off tri keeps and they just will not listen. ȽσƦÐŞσƦѦ✭I will be on soon (after I get the kids to bed). If the situation isn't better by then, I promise it will be. Sucks that I've missed most of the campaign, especially with people trying to gate camp.
First thing most people said in zone chat on DC once we got emp earlier this week and were taking AD's scrolls was something like "As soon as we get that last scroll let AD have their tri-keeps back".

When I first started playing the game with a friend I was worried my friend wouldn't find me. I didn't know what name to pick so I googled "cool gamer names" ( something like that ).
My first character name was "Emily Dragonslayer" ( I guess that is kind of cool ), and then I became a vampire and then my second character name was "Vampire Emily", then i created a few weird names like "Sky Demon" and "Shado Walker". Then I started playing PvP and just left my name in all my character names so people would know who I was.
I've always wanted to create a character named "Crooked Hillary" but that goes against my naming convention and nobody would know it is me. it is a nice feeling to go around and people know who you are just by seeing your name ( sometimes ). I was in some town feeding my horse and someone said "Hi, Emily shouldn't you be playing PvP" and then we talked for a bit. But then there are times when you wish they didn't know you I was in Coldharbor grinding zombies and someone said "Get out of here, go back to PvP".
What about mixing the two ideas and going with "Crooked Emily?" People would still know it is you, and the more politically astute players will probably understand the reference.1 -

If my character does not have any points in crafting can I improve armor to purple or gold? Just curious, I am going to have a friend get some armor in IC but I know she does not have any points in crafting.

You CAN improve things without points in crafting, but it will be really expensive without the passives that reduce the number of improvement mats you need.
With all passives in Temper Expertise, for example, it only takes 8 Tempering Alloys to gold something out, so 8x7k gold or so, for a cost of around 46k.
With no points in Temper Expertise, it takes 20 Tempering Alloys for a 100 percent chance to improve something to gold, so more like 140k.Thrice Empress, Forever Scrub2 -

Another thing to note, if she gets IC armor, she can trade it to someone else and they can improve it, then trade it back. As long as nobody tries it on, that'll work.

Like every other venue for small scale, it is really hit or miss IMO. I've had amazing days with great 3-6 man fights sporadically throughout, but I've also been in there for hours, in the hotspots, and never seen anyone. And it seems like BWB and Azuras are usually pretty quiet.Thrice Empress, Forever Scrub0 -
