WHEN WILL WE GET A COMPANION APP ?

Now I hate that the moment a new MMO comes out every aspect of it is scrutinized against WOW but this time I am going to use WOW as an example as I think they hit the nail on the head when it came to companion apps.
Anyway I think a companion app for this game could be a great addition for several reasons that I can see and I am more than confident you guys will come up with many more.
Guild Stuff
Communicating with my guild when I am out or at work can be difficult as the only way is the use of third party site like forums etc but this makes it more of a hassle for members currently in-game who would rather use the chat, so access to guild chat would be handy.
Access to Crafting?
This one I am not sure how it would work but a way to acces crafting outside the game would be handy for research due to the long times it takes. So if I start a research that would 6 hours and I know it will be complete when say I am at work it would be nice to be able to start the research for the next item from my phone.
Attributes & Skills
Sometimes when I am at work or at college a good idea for an action bar set up etc comes to me and it could be cool to just whip out my phone and start changing my characters skills around or assigning skill points and attribute points there and then.
So these are the few ideas i could muster but like I said there is many other options that I think could make a Companion app a viable option. If you leave ideas below i will try add them into this post for easier viewing. Anyway Discuss away!

I also play Destiny and I really enjoy reading mission recaps as well as being able to study the grimoire cards with their official app on my ipad after I go to bed.
Offhand, It would be supremely cool to be able to read all the lore books I've collected when not in the game. (I'm fully aware that somewhere on the Interwebz are ALL of the lore books, but it misses the point.) It would also be great to be able to scrutinize my character's progress and read about and plan their next ability/perk upgrades.
Regardless, I dearly LOVE Elder Scrolls Online, it's an amazing virtual world and a true work of art.

This would be great for limited time offers when people can't get in the game for some reason but still have their phones.

I support the OP's idea.Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

Has there been any mention of this recently? Seems like a no brainer for ESO Plus, like the crafting bag.
I held out on buying ESO Plus because I felt like the content in the base game was large enough. I recently purchased ESO Plus and the craft bag alone is worth the money imo.0
