Destruction Staff

Destruction staff. Let's see if they finally give this line a strong ability or yet another underpowered ability.

I hope that all weapon ultimates are low cost and all must have the same ult cost, everything else is not fair.
They should be a bit like dawnbreaker in my opinion. Low cost and good damage.

Yep, I think that's what we are going to get here. I hope that thunderstorm doesn't work like in Skyrim. A beam would be a big disadvantage in all content. That's why nobody uses soul assault, despite being the highest damage ult available. It's not only about damage, but about functionality.

Somehow I feel this may share the poisons story.
Before introduction - admired by many, after - players in most do not use.

Must really be something hard hitting/supporting/healing stronger than actual ultis to bring attention, otherwise it will be forgotten very fast.

Personally I'm not awaiting any new ultis, those I have suffice.

Yeah man but they've stated numerous times that tanking should be versatile by any class, I'm personally not a DK tank and don't care for anything like this but it would be nice to be able to slot some sort of max mitigation when things get a little saucy haha.

I cannot VOTE in this poll because I have no idea what the Ultimates are going to be or offer. Considering the two most popular Ultimates are the Fighters and Mages guild, I doubt anyone will be using the new weapon Ultimates if they don't offer something better. I slot the Fighters Ultimate on my Stamina builds because it boosts my Weapon Damage... if one of these Weapon Ultimates doesn't offer it, then it's already a non-starter for me on those builds.

I also wanted to add... if one of these Ultimates turns out to be the next Meta, seeing all these people running around leveling up weapon lines they don't use in order to level the line to access the Ultimate will be fun to watch.

I kinda think that weapon ultimates will be available only when you slot particular weapon, not like use resto-staff ult while using duals. We need more info on that.

unless you have to have the weapon slotted to use it. which would only make sense, since you cannot use the regular active abilities without it.

Isn't that already more than logical ? Of course you have to slot this weapon to use its ultimate.

You smash the ground in front of you doing x damage and more damage to the msin target - all hit by this cone effect are flung in the air... It wont be op in any way..( I may be wrong) Could do a morph for more aoe damage but no stun or more stun but less damage

Restoration Staff

Group bubble version of healing ward would be nice. A group rez would be great, but easily abused. A straight up heal like BoL for the whole group would be fantastic.

This is how weapon ultimate's will work guaranteed, it would be weird to see someone use the Bow ultimate with a different weapon. Can't wait to see them, they will probably decide which weapon classes i use. DW/Bow may be a great combo for pvp depending on how good there ultimate's are. I guess i should start farming for brutality potions just in case

I'd prefer a major mitigation, combat Rez (though that might be better for resto staff), or super barrier type spell for sword and shield, actually. I know aoe taunt is a requested skill, but it's more tactical (and chaotic) not having one. As soon as we have a one button taunt-everything, we creep closer to standard MMORPG combat, and ESO has diffferentiated itself in that regard.

Its an ultimate though. It cant be spammed. But when I'm healing, I hate when I'm standing allllll the way in the back and yet I still get wayward aggro and have to run to tank. I'm like wtf.

A 50 ult AoE taunt will help tanks with all that nonsense and hopefully encourage more tanks in queues.

One of the main reasons no one wants to even tank is because dungeons are so chaotic with aggro tables everywhere. An AoE taunt will encourage more people to tanking since aggro will be more manageable.
