Maybe I'm crazy, but I don't think duelers want to duel with lag. They are likely to find more out of the way places to duel. At least I know I will. I'm not going to duel by the Stormhaven wayshrine or in a bank for instance.

Nice idea, but I'll stick with how I remember it in WoW thanks - a slightly closer analogy!
I have no ingame problem with dueling as long as it is restricted to arenas or other special areas, and there's an effective auto-decline option. Forum-wise it's another matter as I'd hate to see this forum dominated by a mass of individual threads all calling for balancing changes as a result of losing duels.
Rekt this entire thread. Entitlement Exposed.Burning_Talons wrote: »Don't quest in Cyro or IC or that makes you a hyppcrite
They should just make it like killing an NPC - if you do it where those immortal guards see you...

Good luck getting out of the bank before the duel-induced lag hits you!
Well I know I been burned to many times by letting players go.So I dont do it anymore.I let you go and next time I see you your with 15 other players and t bagging me.I don't care if you hold up block that doesn't mean anything your in a PVP zone.Like I said before they need to remove every quest beside from bounty quest in PVP.We won't have to hear these stories anymore.BurritoESO wrote: »PvPers have to deal with pve in cyrodil and imperial city... Yeah, they do. And boy those pve'rs sure do ruin things by running over and attacking the pvp players who were minding their own business and doing pvp stuff.
Oh, wait.....
I went to an IC crafting station to make a set of gear for someone. I made it to the IC, made it to the crafting station only fighting npc enemies. Made the gear and left. On my way back, with my weapon sheathed, I got attacked by a super high cp player. I didn't pull my weapon. I didn't stop to attack. I didn't want to pvp. I ran. And the totally awesome super pvper ran behind me, shooting me in the back until they finally killed me.
I never attacked any player. I never drew my weapon. I never turned to attack or even try to do so.
Pray tell, how was I interfering with the pvp player? Besides not dying in one shot. If he had ignored me, I'd have continued on my way back to the base and out. One type of player "has to deal", but I don't think its the pvpers. I knew going there was more than likely going to get me killed. If it wasn't for the gear the guildie wanted, I'd have not set foot in Cyrodiil for anything.
Not by me, as I like both. In PvP land, PvP'ers can kill the PvE'rs, so in PvE land the PvP'ers should be able to get nabbed by the guards. Don't like it, stay out of sight for your fight! So yes, no dueling in the middle of Rawl if you don't want to face the consequences!rotaugen454 wrote: »I suspect trolling to start a PvP vs PvE flame war...

Am just saying I know why some PVPers don't leave people alone no matter who they are or what they do.How some players feel who PVP.NoMoreChillies wrote: »Well I know I been burned to many times by letting players go.So I dont do it anymore.I let you go and next time I see you your with 15 other players and t bagging me.I don't care if you hold up block that doesn't mean anything your in a PVP zone.Like I said before they need to remove every quest beside from bounty quest in PVP.We won't have to hear these stories anymore.BurritoESO wrote: »PvPers have to deal with pve in cyrodil and imperial city... looks like someone failed to read
Actually - a lot of us leave PvErs be if we see them questing etc. Especially if they are lowbies/low CP and show no interest in PvP.BurritoESO wrote: »PvPers have to deal with pve in cyrodil and imperial city... Shhhhhhh

The final point that you mention is one of my biggest fears concerning the entire ordeal.
