I played 20+ hours a day for 12 days straight to get mine when IR dethroned Khamikazi after her 45 day run as emp or some crap.

Well some of my friend did suggest that when you become a empeoer/empress you start a cool down of 30 days. Like you can be emp as long as you want but as soon as you get de-throne you can not become emp again for 30 days. So you maybe number 1 on the leaderboards but number 2 will become emp if you crown and same thing if number 2 becomes emp and get de-throne and so on.
It just a way to stop cheese players from getting emp over and over and let some players who have lives and can't play 50+ hours to have a chance to become emp.
Getting emp is broken thats was to see, why not have 3 emp at the same one from each faction. Now thats a duel match i would bet on
I always thought that too. Call them the Hero or General for the faction. All with same powers. Peoblem would be though how could u catch up with them?
Maybe if they die they lose all thier AP rank on leaderboard and start over. That way dying means something and there is a sense of loss.
Also would give players that never get a shot.

Why not have kings or queens one per faction, thats voted end by the members.
Why u can see all fighting all over the map. So u can command yours troops in battle, while on console text is nice, but not really used. Got too randoms saying "go here, no here, scroll."

That becomes a game of politics, and there would be no way to ensure that people could only vote on one faction. On PC/NA/AD while I was playing, the Emperor was usually someone who cared about the map, tried to get the most points for the faction, and did their best for the faction - not just themselves. People are inherently selfish, and many will not want to do that..Why u can see all fighting all over the map. Being able to become emperor, and being able to strategize what's best for the map and campaign are two VERY different skill sets. There have been emperors who have been amazing strategists, and emperors who can't see the big picture and just want to go kill opponents. Most are somewhere in the middle. As messed up as the AP system may be in some peoples' world views, emperor going to someone who spends a lot more time playing the game will at least ensure that said emperor is going to be online to fight, rather than get it and have it taken away before they can even log in.
For any suggestion that people want to make, they need to consider the pros and cons from their own perspective, from the perspective of their group or guild, the perspective of their faction, and the perspective of ZOS (hi @ZOS_GinaBruno ) who are trying hard (though unfortunately failing miserably all too often). Keep in mind that the people who work to make this game at ZOS don't play it themselves near as much as most of us do / did, so the decisions that they make about how these things work are going to be biased in favour of what sounds right to them rather than what feels right. The best situation would be for something in the middle. I'm really surprised that by this point they haven't hired a few people who have months /played in PvP, people ranked General+ to advise on those things..
Last night was the first "prime time" night I've played in about six months, and the lag (fights at Fare around 9-10pm ish eastern) rendered the game almost unplayable. I was very disappointed to see that the state of the game hasn't changed much since Q1.
How do u improve something that dont play much as the fans. I play wow for six years and ran into many game master and developers. It would nice to see a dev or game master in cyrodiil at least once. Probably easier on PC than console though. But improving how emp is acquired would be a good thing. Some might say balancing is more important, in 11years Blizzard (triple A company) still is fighting that one. Balancing is going to take years and still with have issue's.

I'm not convinced that there's anything wrong with the emp system as it stands. I don't believe that anyone has made a reasonable suggestion that could be implemented. With so many different things that can be done in Cyrodiil, there's no one activity other than AP gains that can determine contribution. The challenge with AP is that it's too easy to abuse.
Regarding balance, I've been out of the game for too long to really comment. Last time I played regularly was the first 2 weeks of Thieves' Guild, and until then every major patch fixed a LOT of things, though broke a LOT of others.
On a side note, a suggestion that was made about two years ago that would be very interesting was to allow for an Emperor Regent when the Emperor is not logged in. The Emperor Regent would be the person in 2nd place, and would have 75% of Emperor powers when the Emperor was not logged in. If both #1 and #2 were not logged in, then #3 etc would get Regent powers.

The only problem with it is that the game can't handle massive amounts of players in the same area, which is what the end of an emperorship always comes down to. Nothing wrong with the system really though it could be modified for hopefully a more pleasant experience.

Back in the day I got accused of boosting for massing millions of ap before the ap buff. There's also plenty of people who get emp playing the objective aka zerging the map or zerg surfing all the time.

I accused of being a bot because I did the same pattern for 48 hours, I was herbs for darkmood cards.
Funny thing is the topic question was "less than 24 hours" everyone answered yes its possible in 24 hours that wasn't the question...lol. Is it possible in 18 hours...

Sure thing its possible, I've done 1 000 000 in 10 hours when I was solo emp. After you "only" need 100 solo kills per hour, way less if you add ticks and such.

You're an emp, you have massive buffs and passive. what about someone that isn't any emp.

23 hours 59min 59sec is also "less than 24 hours". If you want a specific time then be specific please.

Wasn't going to be that guy that comes on the forums, by making a topic. "so I watched someone farm a 1 million 12 hours." I respect gamers for who there, there is a person behind every keyboard and controller. I am mot a ***, a very stand person. I might be opinionated and open minded, but I am judge mental. So respect my decision not be fully descripted on my topic. And if u decide to makes troll, because I think it funny in your. Do me and everyone else a favor and don't, you're just wasting your and ours.

Of course not. But when you have vampire magic templars and proxy bombing nightblades it can turn the tide real quick.
Anyway back to the topic, yes its definitely possible to gain a million plus ap a day. Several of my guild mates have done it but it requires no lifing it for like 18 hours of playing. Ap gain is much easier on a magic build. All the grand overlords on xbox are pretty much magic builds.
