I respect your opinion. However, I disagree with your logic. So, animation canceling is a skill based aspect of the game. It requires skill/practice. You said that it's not fair, but if one person has not spent time to master a certain aspect of the game, while the opponent has, that opponent should have the upper hand. It's like me saying someone who has played longer than me and more skilled than me has an unfair advantage. It's not an unfair advantage.

It's not about the person on the receiving end. It's about the dexterity and capabilities on the player.
But now we all suspect you use macros, so...

It wasn't meant to be a part of the game. ZoS did not intentionally add it, but once it was discovered and used, they decided to keep it.

And I respect yours. However, I do not see AC as "skillful". I see it as a pointless action that devolves into a spam-fest. It is a rhythmic movement thing that I think appeals to certain people- and as a piano player I can kinda understand that. But it takes away from a situational awareness for the spammer and the spammed. I've also felt it favors people with better latency and FR. All just my own personal thoughts on it as an old school gamer who is probably stuck in the past. As a musician and someone with good internet I probably could master it myself. Perhaps I'm just not hyper competitive enough to do so and to each his own. And no, Kena I am not looking to 1vX on this topic. It's probably one as many have said that's been beaten to death.

Only thing close to J running a macro:

Spam-fest? The game is a spam fest regardless. Chances are you are not dieing because of animation canceling.. its bad bad bad play in every aspect. build/skill/positioning etc.

Yeah this game is a spamfest! lol. Probably why every now and then I switch to FO....V.A.T.S is a nice submersive combat mode and one I really enjoy.

I dont think you have to be hyper competitive to be able to weave in a light/heavy attack or bash. Its a really simple mechanic. But my suspicions are correct. I know a single player gamer when i see one.

Proud single player gamer here.however, the large group play promise is what attracted me to ESO. I love the whole teamwork aspect, even if it's only a small team of 2 or 3 having fun together. And I think I'm not unique in that I find it highly annoying when I die instantly without seeing any combat or being afforded a decent opportunity to block.

When people get out skilled the first instint is always 'macro's it seems on pc.

what you call a skill, I'll never consider anything but an exploit... which is what it is, macros or manual.

Because the idea of a combo system was also beyond ZOS technical expertise. So many possible combos come to mind, but there's no coding for it here. It's a shame, it might also foster better group play.

Here we go again.... Because AC was NOT intended to be exploited in the original game design. Later, when they determined that they could not address the exploit, they called it a feature. The whole discussion was well documented and can be searched for.
So AC became known as the "feature" called "weaving". Once a documented exploit, always an exploit, regardless of how it got spun.
FACT.

It's an exploit because he's either bad at it, or never bothered to learn it.
Or he can't handle people doing more than mashing a skill that easily to predict. Can't handle the bursts or such it seems.

But why is it an exploit, it was a bug, zos decided to keep the bug. So it's no longer a bug or an exploit and is now intended game design.
Just stop crying and either learn or don't either way no one really cares if you consider it an exploit or not. People will do it, you will die to it and you will continue to throw salty tears all over the forums it seems.

you didn't do the research did you? Taking advantage of a bug is by definition exploiting.
It was exploited by scrubs (like you maybe), and it's become the defacto standard now to be competitive. I can animation cancel with the best of them, and sadly it's pretty much required in PVP at this point. That doesn't make it less an exploit of scrubby.
I luv where you wrote "zos decided to keep the bug".... LOL! Keep the bug indeed? Oh Lee, we've been over this soo many times, and you still fail.

But neither of those have anything to do with AC. Do you play without sound? You can literally tell the difference between every attack just by listening. Combat music plays before you even get hit by any ability allowing you to block an incoming attack from a ganker. If you're up against a certain class you can be blind and deaf and still know what skills they're going to use because this game only has 5 skill slots.
