There's no such thing as "siege stealing" as siege engines are meant to be run as a team, one person on the siege, the other casting Siege Shield, repairing the siege, keeping caltrops down and watching for those nightblades.
Excuse me? As long as I am the one paying for the siege then it is siege stealing unless of course ZOS wants to hand them out for free!!
Hammy!!
You seriously sound extremely snobby throughout this entire thread. It's 1k ap, not 10k or 100k. Please get off your high horse and stop acting like it is life or death. My mother taught me how to share 28 years ago so I have no problem letting others use my siege.
That happened to me today. I NEVER do open-world PvP. Most of my experience in PvP is in the arena district in IC, but that was killed by district capture. = (
However, I really needed to get vigor on my stamDK for a hybrid build I am working on. She had level 4 Support/Assault. It took me like 3-5 hours of zerg surfing and mutugen spamming to get to 5. (I have no shame in what I did.) So I didn't have a lot of AP to spend on siege, but I bought some to be helpful. I didn't want to be that person who just stands around while others siege. I got about 5 of them. First time I took part in a keep capture, I set one down and had to leave it to fend off an attacker. When I came back someone had taken it and moved it, treating it like their own. Ok... This happened twice more.
I agree that it's part of a team effort to bring down the keep, but what I didn't like was that they 'put' the siege away after we finished and kept it. = ( It made my small stash run out really fast. Siege is weird. PvP keep capture is weird. xD
What's a siege?[/quoA total lockout of your siege would result in more unused siege lying around. A better idea would be to let you boot people off your siege when you attempt to use it again. That way when you're not on the siege others can still use it however when you want to, you can regain control of it.
Doesn't fix the problem of newbies jumping on your siege and turning it 180 to fire at that one nightblade skulking around at your rear though.
Yeah I think a lock out feature could be abused... therefore I kind of like what others have suggested and that is a kick/take back option for all siege.
Gurrrr.. not sure what happened with this post but I quoted the wrong persons.. sorry!!
