Do Master's Weapons drop in nDSA?

It used to be that if you ran nDSA, you'd get a V13 Master's Weapon. If you ran vDSA, you'd get a V14. Is it the same now? Does nDSA deliever CP150 and vDSA has CP160?

It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure I got a 130CP master sword last time I did nDSA.

Good question. My guess is:

Veteran --> CP160
Normal --> CP150

There is probably a chance Normal mode won't drop anything though. People need to run it to confirm! (first to answer gets an Insightful

)

A random person I was in a trial with just now said his friend got a master bow from nDSA (idk the level)
A different person in the trial said he ran nDSA 15 times and none of them got any master weapon

I'd love an actual confirmed answer on this from someone

Well they promised 100% drop rate so the 2nd dude is telling the truth. It's been said before on here the drop is vet only.

1. you forgot to state "IMO", IMO they are actually very good ones like the sword, the bow and the healing staff.

Gawsh OP, I've been asking this question over and over again. I'm on console, so I can't test it for myself.

IDK? I never tried the normal, but I will later. I do know, normal WGT/ICP give cp 150 gear, but no monster helm. So I would guess you get the DSA gear at 130 or so and no master weapons. This will probably all change next week when consoles get the new DLC.

With the "right" group, DSA can be a piece of cake until you get to the last boss. Then it's time to see what your tank is made of.

Before the last update, they used to drop in VR13 in normal and VR14 in veteran.

After the update, I can only assume they drop in CP150 in normal and CP160 in veteran.

I have ran normal DSA a few times, you get blue CP160 gear but no master weapons (at least I haven't). Also it is easily 2 manned or soloable now.

Where is a LOL button when you want one?

Resto: vMA is good when soloing; vDSA is best for group play
Tank weapon: vMA is egregiously unbelievably laughably suckastic
Destro: vMA is best in PvE; vDSA is best in PvP

Frankly, I'd say that they're actually pretty balanced, once you figure in different contexts.

I've ran it a few times, but no master weapons yet. I'd say if they ARE in the nDSA loot tables, they're probably rare.

Before the patch, nDSA was dropping Master weapons in Blue quality at the end. I ran once and received one.

Since the patch, nDSA is no longer dropping Master weapons at the end. Have since ran it 6 times and have not received another one.

I am thinking that if it is 100% guaranteed in Vet, not sure if you receive purple quality or what, then they should make it a 25% chance on nDSA and you receive it in white quality but still at CP160 or a chance at that level instead of CP150 so you have to run it more often to receive the drop to compensate for the difficulty difference and make it like the Monster Helms in the new dungeons.

Can you link to where they said that? Cause i keep being told that but then other people say it drops at 150cp on normal, blah blah

Do you have any idea who it was, or where they posted it?

Maybe we could get some clarification from @ZOS_GinaBruno or @ZOS_JessicaFolsom, since the patch notes are unclear on the matter.

I've ran it on normal a few times never got a masters(this was after update mind you) probably because it's easier then MOL on lvl 10.

Still no solid answer. It's always "I heard from a friend..." but no confirmation from an actual source. It'd be nice to receive confirmation from ZOS that says "There is 0% chance to receive a Master's Weapon in nDSA." I know that ZoS confirmed there's a 100% chance on vDSA- but they never confirmed/denied anything about a Master's Weapon on nDSA.

I can confirm it is a no, normal DSA drops weapons from other sets, like lightning staff of the footman
