Update 11 missing hairstyles (More in PTS)

This entire thread is now being filtered through the 'you all live in a world of self-entitlement' fanatics. When, at the beginning we merely stated the desire to see in the game the adornments and hairstyles that they -told us- would be available on the 1st shown via the videos and live streams. Perhaps some people sadly misread about the 'standard hairstyle bundle' not containing the new styles, but that is not what the nature of this post was originally about. We wanted to know why these items had not been placed in the shop upon release of shadows of the hist, so that we could buy them.

    So when I see:
Today's world is full of this insane feeling of entitlement, so the second THEY misread or make a mistake, they look for anything possible (poor wording, intentional or not, for example) and demand compensation for their own impulsive nature because they feel something is owed to them. In reality, nothings owed to them.

All I can think is that you and many others did not read a single word of what this post was originally about, of what it was that we, the consumers, were reaching out to show our displeasure for. @The_Linderman and co, it's not self-entitlement when a notable percentage is not satisfied with a product that they paid for or would like to pay for under the plain understanding that they 'will be able to'. Unlike yourself, I won't make the assumption to judge your mentality on sales and consumers rights, but if you spent money (little or a lot) on a product or concurring subscription that clearly stated what it was to offer (visually, verbally and in writing) a product or purchase opportunity, and to then find this service or opportunity was not offered to you? Well, then I would help you felt somewhat mystified and annoyed at being dealt a classic 'bait and switch' tactic.

Never -ever- forget that if you pay for this, that if you spend money via a sub or regularly for crowns than this is a product. Don't let these people slam you with @ZOS_RichLambert quotes of 'you don't have to be here', because truthfully that's not how the 'two-way-street of running a business works'. Respect runs both ways.

    Hey all,

I just purchased the hairstyle pack. But I miss the hairstyle I actually want. It's a long ponytail like a samurai. It's not in the pack!?
And sidecut hairstyle isn't there too.

They should've added an actual barber shop where you pay gold coins not CROWNS to change my f***ing apperance its just stupud maybe add some rare hairstyles in the crown stores but the ones which were availble while creating yiur charcter should be altered with a small fee

As far as appearance change is concerned, a lot of people become frustrated because the appearance of the created toon in the appearance edit screen does not reflect accurately how the toon looks once in game.

I suspect this is largely down to lighting and limitations on camera angle. I would suggest therefore:

    1) Change the lighting to how it appears in the character selection screen after you logon, or even allow several different lighting settings for the edit screen.

    2) Allow the both vertical and horizontal movement of the toon or camera in the edit screen. Perhaps, even an ability to cam even closer to the toon.

1, I read every post in the thread. Some of them twice.
2, there's plenty of people on this thread and others, that all too commonly demand compensation for their own mistakes and impulsive behavior.
3, no I do not feel sorry for them.

I'm 32, I've made the same impulsive mistakes in real life. Know how many times I was compensated? For my own mess up? Not many, if any. And it's the people whining and demanding things because they didn't read what they purchased before purchasing that I take issue with, not the ones that are angry over not having everything they were hoping would be released. But, you want to strategically ignore the fact that I wasn't talking about that

Nope. Someone has contended that ZOS puts something new in the cash shop every Thursday. I'm not sure I believe that's true. But will be interesting to see when/if this hairstyles start magically appearing.

Store updates are usually on Thursdays aren't they? The new hairstyles were not in this month's crown store preview so maybe next month. We still haven't had all the items that went into the Dark Brotherhood PTS yet.

I just want to show you the solution I found for that silly "kiss me not hat" - it is not too bad on a male khajiit - I have dyed the hat and the Rumare costume for men in a greyish tone to somewhat match the hat with the outfit.

Now I am curious what you think about it - does it still look silly or have I found a solution for it?

Honestly, what makes me annoyed about this is that my feedback on the PTS appears to have been ignored. On 29th June, I posted:
    baratron wrote: »
The one thing I will say about the Hair Style Bundle is that it was not at all obvious that it was only the hairstyles already in the game. I was chatting to my friends on Teamspeak as I went through it, and it was only after I said, "I swear that none of these hairstyles are new" that someone told me that I needed to buy the new hairstyles separately. Some clarification is needed here.
In other words, I told ZOS over a month ago that players were going to feel confused and/or ripped off because they would buy the Hair Style Bundle thinking that it included new hairstyles, and they did very little to clarify the situation. They could have avoided hurt feelings by using a term like "base game" hairstyles instead of "standard", or even spelling out "all of the hairstyles already in the game. New ones must be purchased separately."

I think it looks nice, but I never hated that hat anyway. It is none of my characters' style but I don't think it is bad.

Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

He is the only one of my characters who can wear this and does not look totally mental. I guess that is, because the bones do not stand up from the head that much as it is with humanoids. I did not try it on my Argonian though, because he has a good costume with a hood already. Maybe the beast races are the only ones, where it looks ok.

I still don't like it. It'd be a GREAT hat IF it didn't have those ridiculous tusks grafted on to it and the bizarre nose guard. I also really hate that the hats come with hairstyles attached. If that's the only what they can do it they need to offer at least 3 or 4 options.

This is actually my Khajiit's hair chosen from the hairstyle collection, it is not part of the hat. My humanoid characters would look too ridiculous with this hat and those tusks standing out to the front, but beast race heads are more forward in their lower part and that compensates these tusk's exposure. I am meanwhile pretty comfortable with the look of my Khajiit.

The only thing it looks like they "added" today was a sale on bank and bag space. Likely trying to get people to spend down their crowns before they bring anything new to the cash shop.
