✭✭It is and it isn't...you lose a lot for what you get. 400 debuff is just the same as most enemies not buffing or less imo. It's like 12% of the average which isn't worth writing home about these days. Plus it can be purged. The best fun I've had with it is stalking duels and ruining it for them. It was good for hel Ra back when it was hard. Saves a few lives on the blow the horn zerg.PC Master Race

chimneyswift_ESO✭✭✭✭I heard just the other day these old trial sets were discontinued but I couldn't find anything about it in the patch notes. I use Healing Mage on my NB Healer and I love it. I was really looking forward to grinding AA again for a CP 160 Healing Mage set but apparently I can't get it anymore? I dunno, if these really are discontinued that would make me sad.
Or hey, if players really want them they should introduce a "currency" system like we have in vICP and vWGT where we can get those drops from a chest inside AA or Hel Ra. Most players won't want those sets, so don't make them drop from bosses, but how bout letting us who want them be able to still get them by grinding trials for a new currency so we can get them at 160.Ebonheart Pact

And nothing happens to your old gear. It'll still be there, at the old levels. You just can't acquire any new pieces.
VO/IA are very good sets, and I'm personally happy that there are more places to get them. And with vMA/vDSA weapons being BiS, many of these older sets don't really fit in anyway since they often involve weapon slots.Nightfighters ― PC/NA and PC/EU

well yes, but tbh ome of those 3piece sets are rather good. like the 3pc that stacks crit rating. The problem with the vo/if sets is that they come in all traits and all equioable pieces. You cant tell ,e this is for build variety when they're refusing to add many many sets back into the game.
Also considering that they nerfed every single trials set (i'vr been running vo at vr14 sincr before db, and it was a wayyy better set) and refuse to add 3pc sets that let tou stack crit amd wd I'd say they're intentionally trying to keep these sets OUT of the game.

Better? How? VO now has Minor Slayer, which is huge, esp. after the buff to Minor Slayer in Update 11. The speed boost is now Major Expedition instead of the ridiculous (though admittedly very fun) 70%, but it also lasts quite a bit longer and is, IMHO, much more useful than before because the duration is actually of a useful length. Oh, and the availability of jewelry for VO makes it work in a lot more builds.
