If it is to be believed that the previous DLC were also designed with the launch of the game (and tweaked) then there is a very big lack of any development taking place of late

Oh wow... then maybe we should really cut them some slack... there has to be a reason to why they did (or rather didnt) do all of this new... to be fair, an online game, the servers, dont run on nothing, so maybe it has something to do with the sub removals but I am talking out of my butt because I dont actually have any legit proof, however I cant imagine any other reason as to why they didnt make anything "new" or improved. Its not like they dont WANT people to buy their things or their game to succeed.

We really don't know what's it like to make the game as big and as an A+ title as ESO. So... their art department and everyone else is probably busy as hell, working on something to be released next year in this time...
Still, that's no excuse to release a poor version of the iconic costume and ask for 2k, one that was endorsed and loved by so many fans and role players. The first two Hero cosumes were ESO standard, the third one was just amateur-made. Doesn't even look official.

Actually, all you have to do is check their employees on linkedin. For example lovely Maria Aliprando.
On linked in described like this:
"Maria is the Product Owner and Gameplay Designer for the Champion System; previously the Product Owner and Combat Designer for the monsters in The Elder Scrolls Online."
She's no longer working for Zenimax, of course there's no way of telling whether she left on her own or not.
Nonetheless, she played a huge part in ESO's development and she's gone now.
Here's an older list of known devs elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Developers_(Online)
I checked a few and apart from already mentioned Maria, Nick Konkle - Lead Gameplay Designer left, so did Todd Yarbrough - Effects Lead, so did Andrew Frederiksen - Producer. Feel free to speculate
i usually dont care about cosmetics since i think they are useless, bring nothing of value, and overall it's just lazy way to make easy money but holy moly that breton costume is super bad lololololololol. Those textures are just horrible somebody actually looked at that and said "yup this looks legit".

In IT industry, people come and go. It's just the way it always been. Various reasons. I don't quite like it, but it's just the way it is. While everyone's input is valid, ESO is such a vast game, you can't notice sudden change in its dev team. Everyone add a small puzzle to much larger picture. They key thing is to have good leaders and healthy core. Good leadership can recognize the missing parts and find some good or even better substitute. That's what matters here.
@Blackbird71
Americans copied the British phrase incorrectly is all. Most Americans say it that way.

Nah. I am not having this issue die down. I am gonna keep smashing my head against ZOS' front door till something happens. (Probably brain dis-function from hitting my head so much)
I agree with you 100% but, ZOS knows full well that eventually this thread will get buried like so many others in the past voicing players concerns and discontent. All they have to do is sit back and wait. They could care less about the concerns of players there actions show that time and time again. However, they also know that the majority of players will stick around anyways.
"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."
Sorry to nitpick, but you've used this same phrase at least four or five times already in this thread alone.
I'll let Mr. Yankovic explain:
"Weird Al" Yankovic - Word Crimes: "I could care less"
I could care less. Quite a bit less, in fact.
