I've now reduced our ts limit to 11 so we are now "only 11 on ts"

Got zerged by 30 DC's yesterday whilst playing solo only to be told "well its just 9 of us in group" XD

Which sets you use? I see you not use alchemist.
Why do you use soul tether instead of meteor

I am actually using alch

pop the potion on my resto bar.
Soul tether for a number of reasons. Mainly I'm raid leading so focused a lot. The health back is nice also I can stun everyone and choose where that stun hits(normally fairly poorly but still XD). But I'm mainly using bats cause we're generally fighting zergs rather than gvg style

Batswarm is the strongest ultimate - and it works great for a raid leader.
Reason why I dont use it is, that we mostly impact and retreat or run oos within 3 second after impact. And with that I dont use the full potential of the batswarm. So meteor is better for my gameplay. But Swarm is ze STRONKEST ulti, no doubt

Well swarm lasts 5s, If you hit it before lotus (if you're using) then thats 1 second down, so the next 4s gives you time to dps and retreat for 1s if thats the case. Doesn't make too much difference but if you are playing such style of burst i agree its not the ulti to use, just depends what time of enemy you are fighting, Ebony is generally mega zerg 2-3 raids minimum so bats is by far the best for that situation.

Personally I think Bats is better in kind of open fights where you dont have a lot of stacked enemies/its easy for the enemies to spread. In that case you benefit more from the bigger range and longer duration of bats. If you however fight a lot of stacked enemies inside a keep for example I think Meteor is by far better because you can meteor from range and take down a lot of enemies before the actual impact of your group.

Yeh agree this is kinda what I meant by 2-3 raids, they just zerg and spread all around you which is why I use, also sometimes I'm using bats if we will easily kill an enemy raid and there are multiple flowing in after them. so you hit them once and then the next raid and the next etc.
On stacked raids i'll use tether cause as lead im generally there first and want to hold them in a place for rest of dps, meteor can be mitigated a bit better by this guy moving away from his friends (which people don't generally do admittedly)
