Stamina types overall > magicka types overall in PvP period. That needs to change if the developers want to keep played from leaving the game (the ones who aren't willing to bend and play a FOTM class just to be competitive).
1) I'd love to hear an explanation as to why Magicka types are not designed to wear heavy armor, but Stamina types are. It seems that you don't have a very accurate grasp of what the armor bonuses actually do... Magicka AND Stamina builds make the same sacrifices and gain the same bonuses when they switch to heavy armor.
2) How does wearing heavy armor reduce you resource pool? Which passive did you misread to make you think you have more Magicka wearing light armor?
You're signature reads, "MY TRI-FACTION MAGICKA SQUAD." Perhaps more time invested in learning what the builds you don't play are actually capable of would be beneficial?

Play solo on a magicka class for a week or two and come back and say that they are balanced. Stamina isn't ruining the game or anything and if you are a magicka user you can still have fun and if you are good you can be effective, it's just a lot harder in cyrodiil if you are a magicka user. PvP is just far less forgiving for magicka
I'm done with PVP in this game. It's horrible. And I highly advise that others quit PVP as well, before it ruins the game for you too. While rng from PVE can be highly infuriating, nothing compares to the frustration experienced in PVP. Whether it be from: Bugs, exploits, class unbalance, lag, skill unbalance, etc.

1 and 2. You misread my commentI said stamina types are designed to wear medium armor.
3. This is an ad hominem fallacy. I won't bite because idgaf. It's my opinion. Make your own rather than trying to rip apart someone else's on technicality and poor logic.
It looks like you're saying that:Magicka types are not designed to wear heavy armor. It reduces their magicka pool, while medium armor keeps their stamina pool up and their defense sufficient (plus shuffle spam).
I stand by the statement that magicka types are designed to wear light armor (unless they are tanks) and not heavy armor. You think that's false, but just because you state that it is so, doesn't make it false. After all, what's your evidence? Mine is lore, the marketing of magicka types, and media.
The technically was my use of "resource pool". You're using it as synonymous with a max magicka buff, which light armor passive do not give. However, it's obvious that by having increased recovery and spell reduce costs (two passives of light armor), magicka classes can get more spells with their pool.
In comparison:
-a DPS stamina player will wear medium armor. Not only do they have more survivability than a light armored magicka DPS player, they also get to enjoy their stamina regen passive.
-a DPS magicka player will wear heavy armor? losing their spell reduction cost and recovery. How is that even?
Thanks for dropping the ad hominum, because even though it's not on my sign. I have played stamina types. I have a maxed out Stam DK, Stamplar, and Stam NB. My preference for magicka classes is purely for role play, and I imagine there are others out there like me. I want to fight things with flashes and explosion, not sword stabs and uppercuts.
