    @Transairion

I liked the Elven Costume and the Nord one was OK too. They were wearable. However the Breton One, if you read what my post actually goes over has had less effort put into it and is far lower quality than other current Armours and Costumes.

My thread is highlighting the fact that it has had far less effort put into it than other recent Costumes and Armours without and reason. It should be up to par with the other.

This really baffles the mind, the Breton one was by far the most hyped one, and yet it received far less effort than the other two. WTF ZOS?

I got the Breton costume, but i must say "it does lack detail, it's very poor quality".

I hope they update this costume with better textures / detail. The design & style i like very much. If they don't increase the level of detail on this item & future items, i'm afraid i will just stop buying these items.

I like to support games i like, but this doesn't mean i will keep giving you cash, if the quality is poor. Please Pay Attention, since i think many will agree with me on this.

I wonder if they will respond to this thread or just ignore us on this matter....

Anyone who has bought the costume even though they don't like it and are coming here to complain... You are not the solution. You are the problem.

Stop buying *** you don't like. Vote with your wallet. By buying it you have just told ZOS I like this enough to spend the amount of crowns you were selling it for.

Preview it, if you don't like it then come and say why you aren't buying it.

I get some aspects(anything involving movement) aren't previewable but the majority of complaints regarding this were.

This costume is very disappointing, ZOS should acknowledge and re-release.

I had high hopes for this costume since an year..

Those who already bought should recieved re-released costume as part of replacement.

True that, but by now the way I saw this game working is that ZOS doesnt even have to act butthurt because ZOS fanboys/girls do it for them... the rest of us are simply entitled just like you said it... Zos KNOWS they can charge 20 dollars for such a badly constructed costume exactly because there are people that defend them, and the only argument they have is "Dont like it? Dont buy it... Dont play it... Move to another game"...Oh well...

And the problem with "fanboi-ish" behavior is that it perpetuates bad PR for any company. If a company indeed wants to market itself, it will filter through information (both positive AND negative) and consider a direction that will ensure long term success, rather than catering to a small few "armchair lawyers" who think they have an idea of what's best.

Good companies will consider both- not just praise and back-slapping.

I agree completely...any serious company would actually care about ALL of their customers, however:

    RLambert.png

Honestly, I am not expecting anything from this company when their creative directors are just as childish as some people on this forum. Never ever...have I seen such a response from someone to one of their costumers. From a corner cafe? Maybe.

Companies should never give that kind of response to someone that purchased their product, if they dont have anything better to say, than they shouldnt say anything at all. It was a very petty response... best thing? It has like 74 awesome. Even better? Those awesomes contribute to the direction this game is heading. Even better? That is the generation that gets the same treatment in real life, themselves apologizing for it and fight the worlds problems with #s and safe spaces...but I am going off topic here and will probably get my comment removed.

So they should act like robots to the constant abuse of the playerbase? No, not at all. They are human like the rest of us. If we can get tired of annoying people, so can they. Those 74 awesome indicate that people agree with what he said. That means 74 people that understand where his comment comes from.

Just to point out the glaring problem here. While previewing, you can't move, which makes the whole costume a false advertising as the most glaring problem is the cloak sticking to your backside, which is impossible to figure out without buying.

You don't think $20 is a big issue? Uhm really? This isn't a two three dollar purchase. This is the price of a game or a dlc.

If you don't consider that a big issue - then fine, but let other people have their say on what is a large amount purchase.

It only takes 1 player to buy the product and provide video for the other hundreds/thousands of players to see how it works, and such video was up within hours of it being made purchasable.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but ESO is also completely devoid of capes/cloaks that fly out behind "superman style" (or at all) so simply assuming this costume suddenly would without explanation was a fool's endeavor, sorry to say.

I mean, I am the only person who previews stuff online and ingame BEFORE buying in any and every game I've played like this? Seems like a of LOT of impulse buyers...

Stop trying to twist what Rich said. That was said in a thread where he was not acting as a dev but as a fellow player. That thread was like a vacation for him to just talk with the community and people like the one he replied to were trying to derail it.

No that's not a thing. He's a dev, he has a responsibility to the players. He didn't handle the question well at all. That was unprofessional.

If he wanted to post as a player he shouldn't of done it under a ZOS tag.

This has to be seen in perspective - that thread came up as follow up to a webcast, where Rich was a guest and talked not just about the game but as well about him being an actual player - and when he answered in this thread this was about personal matters and not about game issues. People asked him about what he likes with the game, what he has tried, what his personal experiences are as a player. This thread was clearly about the person Rich, not about his function as a developer.

But I think as well, that his reaction was inappropriate, and I think he knows this as well - he shouldn't have been rude but he is a person with feelings as well - and this just got to him and he overreacted - but to get to him with game issues when he is in a "private mode" is as well inappropriate - both sides just chose the wrong time to make these statements. Both are humans, humans make mistakes and overreact at times.

As one of the people in charge of the game, that was an unacceptable response and really shows how little they actually care about the community. It is his responsibility to make sure customers are satisfied and not fire off with a response like you don't have to be here. It was unprofessional and created a PR nightmare, I wonder if that why I haven't seen a post from him since that day.

I agree with everything the OP said but I'd say my biggest gripe is with the hood itself. In the cinematic the tip of the hood is very low it completely covers the forehead almost to the point where the tip of the hood is just above the top of the nose between the eyes. (Think Assassin's Creed)

On my character the hood has no point in the middle its just a rounded hood that makes my character look bald... Like I have a giant forehead.

I'm disappointed in the costume, and don't even get me started on the back of the cloak, ugggggggly.

Edit: I will say this though, the Nord Hero Costume is by far the best of the 3 costumes and completely worth the money I spent on it. I'm not going to stop collecting costumes/mounts/pets etc. But it would be really nice if they added the low cut hood that the Breton Hero Costume actually had in the cinematic.

its yur money spend the way you want and yes you have a right to complain, but i truly believe that you should not buy a costume you know is messed up with the hopes of it being fixed. its sad that thas what this limited time sale is doing to ppl right now and i think its just wrong. they are preying on ppl... and for the ppl who hold off on buying it becuz its junk and they turn around a fix it without offering a resale thats even more f*cked up.

I for one will not buy it as it is - and if they will fix it and not offer it a second time, so be it - i will be happy for those, who have bought it and got it fixed then. At least all the complains had a purpose then. I can live without it as well, there are more than enough hooded outfits which I can dye and see what I will get out of those, it does not have to be this one, just out of hope, that it might get fixed, while I actually expect that maybe the hood will be fixed, but not the rest of it.
