Should ZOS give Us multi person mounts ?

One of my favorite things in ESO is traveling around with friends . However , many friends get lost along the trail because they're mounts are too slow or just fed to carry lots of items . This has lead to many a new player falling off waterfalls and cliffs to their dooms with no soul gems in pockets . So I got to turn around and rez while being late to every battle rally . So I was thinking if the leaders in group just had a coach or a carriage , we could ride these adventurers around until they get familiar with the land ! Also talk about great RP tools and fun ... What do you think? Should ZOS start looking into Carriages, wagons coaches ?

We've seen them in past games .

It would be a great crown store edition

Some cool mods were made with them too to tour around

Some cool designs for these would make immersion great .

All I can see is pros so let me know if you see any cons to this :)

Yeah I think it's a cool idea, when you're on your alts playing with friends and their mount speed is 60 you have no chance of keeping up with them and it's annoying as hell being left behind lol

It's good to have and looks cool..

At least it will give some variety among mounts.

I spend a lot of time running back trying to keep Rapids on players with new mounts . I so badly want to pick them up and ride them to where we are going lol

Would be great. Just make their speed increase per point into speed 1/2 that of regular mounts and their stamina consumption twice that as regular mounts. This make sense considering they are designed to carry more of a load.

Great idea. And a great item for the crown store.

Um, you do know that a "carriage" isn't built for speed right? A carriage that can hold 4 people should go a lot slower than a horse carrying one person.

I'm all for mounts that carry extra people, but by no means should they go the same speed as a horse with maxed a out speed skill.

That's the price you pay for riding with friends in a "carriage".

They should just copy what Archeage did and allow more than one person to get on the same mount.

I think its a great Idea. Can you imagine a horse pulling a carriage through Cyrodill where he gets ganked and ten people pile out of the carriage? It would be awesome!

Y'know, I think a Wamasu could carry several people
Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.
    ***
Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

Maybe 4-6 in the wagon...I think this would be fantastic. Great fun in the caravan and it would add some interesting trojan horse style dynamics to getting ganked (or ganking) on the road.

Could then hire mercs to guide said carriage or drivers of said carriage to the battle.

Legit door to door service, run a taxi service so people can AFK on the way to battle, you just charge a fee.

    I would love this.

A few guildies of mine have joked about this since a lot of us want Magic Carpet Mounts. And with multi character mounts, we laughed and added that we want a large magic carpet for the whole group to sit on, perfect for storming keeps or running in to a zerg with. ahah

    Great idea. Really. + Awesome.

My first TES game was Oblivion, which didn't have a lot of travelling options, instead relying upon the Fast Travel option on the map. This was fixed with some great mods by people like @Arthmoor and others.

Then I played Morrowind and I really liked how they handled travel. You could ride, use magic, walk, do whatever. It's as if the inhabitants of Morrowind understood that travel is essential to human life, and then tried to find solutions to accommodate it. You didn't just click an icon on a map.

One of the things I most looked forward to with ESO was (1) hundreds of players all trying to go to different places and (2) a number of immersive travelling options. I had hoped that large cities like Glenumbra would have a kind of "subway" feel to them.

But it wasn't really designed that way. Wayshrines are free and everywhere. And while I understand why it was done this way, I do wish Zeni would have incorporated more immersive travel options would give their cities a feel of life and commerce. But why did that if you have wayshrines, right?

But what if you could hire (via a series of repeatable quests) as a carriage or caravan guard? You could hire on in Glenumbra and travel to Sentinal or even to another faction. Your caravan could be attacked by random bandits and you could get exp and drops from fighting them. If your caravan survived to the end of the trip, you might get a levelled share of the profits.

At least this would give players a reason for using something other than wayshrines.

Awesome idea! I'd also go as far as asking for some range in travel means. How cool would it be to ride a sled pulled by 8 huskies in the snowy regions of Skyrim, 2 man chariot with goats (Thor style) or a sleigh pulled by deer.

No because mounts aren't actually seperate. Their an extension of the player.
