However , many friends get lost along the trail because they're mounts are too slow or just fed to carry lots of items . This has lead to many a new player falling off waterfalls and cliffs to their dooms with no soul gems in pockets . So I got to turn around and rez while being late to every battle rally . So I was thinking if the leaders in group just had a coach or a carriage , we could ride these adventurers around until they get familiar with the land ! Also talk about great RP tools and fun ... What do you think? Should ZOS start looking into Carriages, wagons coaches ?
We've seen them in past games .
It would be a great crown store edition
Some cool mods were made with them too to tour around
Some cool designs for these would make immersion great .
All I can see is pros so let me know if you see any cons to this

Maybe if was group members only ?

Definitely....I'm already looking forward to saying "Are we there yet?" "I gotta pee!"

My first TES game was Oblivion, which didn't have a lot of travelling options, instead relying upon the Fast Travel option on the map. This was fixed with some great mods by people like @Arthmoor and others.
Then I played Morrowind and I really liked how they handled travel. You could ride, use magic, walk, do whatever. It's as if the inhabitants of Morrowind understood that travel is essential to human life, and then tried to find solutions to accommodate it. You didn't just click an icon on a map.
One of the things I most looked forward to with ESO was (1) hundreds of players all trying to go to different places and (2) a number of immersive travelling options. I had hoped that large cities like Glenumbra would have a kind of "subway" feel to them.
But it wasn't really designed that way. Wayshrines are free and everywhere. And while I understand why it was done this way, I do wish Zeni would have incorporated more immersive travel options would give their cities a feel of life and commerce. But why did that if you have wayshrines, right?
But what if you could hire (via a series of repeatable quests) as a carriage or caravan guard? You could hire on in Glenumbra and travel to Sentinal or even to another faction. Your caravan could be attacked by random bandits and you could get exp and drops from fighting them. If your caravan survived to the end of the trip, you might get a levelled share of the profits.
At least this would give players a reason for using something other than wayshrines.

There is much that would change before this (my comment could be outdated)
