So the widow's peak hairstyle is Abnur Tharn's hair?

Personally, I'd rather not see Apachi-style hair in ESO. While they're very well done, the aesthetic never really matched the Elder Scrolls setting, in my opinion. What I would like to see is the addition of hairstyles from the other games. There's this lovely style with twin braided loops that I always wear in both Morrowind and Skyrim, and I'd love to see it in ESO, too.

Was it clear what hair styles you could/couldn't use on your character and why?
It became clear when you went over the image and the restrictions popped up, but it would be better if it was sorted to begin with. Especially in your collection screen as many have already mentioned.

This is the same haircolour. It's not only on dreads, by the way.
Since changing hair colour is only possible by using a token, this colour change is a bit too much for my liking.

EDIT: killed off the costume dyeing part here and posted it where it belongs...

It's not just the hairstyle, the same happens in the character creation,. When making an Altmer Sorc, the dreads hairstyle and the curly hairstyle were the only real redheads I could make. Any other style would become strawberry blond.

I'm not sure if this is working as intended, but disguises also do not play nice with any of the hairstyles in the crown store. Even the bundle with all the basic hair options. Equipping any disguise resets the hair style back to the one picked in character creation. This kinda negates the benefit of some of the newer, nicer styles.

Like the others mentioned, a way to sort the hairstyles by gender and race would be nice as it's rather annoying to have to click through them 1 by 1 when half the options do not work. Would definitely prefer some sort of UI like in the char gen with the option to just scroll through them.

You also can't get a good look at the hairstyle when viewing from the collection's tab. The view just shows your character up front, with no option to do a turntable. Would be great if it zoomed into the face for the head cosmetics.

Agreed. I'm really hoping for more natural long hairstyles, since I'm not a big fan of "exotic" and ponytails styles.

Agreed, the other two are absolutely terrible. I'm really disappointed in the FEW hairstyles added and even more disappointed that there are no new makeup/warpaint/scar/face tat options. This is incredibly underwhelming as your rollout for this feature ZOS.

Seriously, at a minimum you need to add MORE hairstyles and just MAYBE look at some of the NUMEROUS threads that have appeared in the forums over the years full of examples of what players actually WANT...which is for the most part ENTIRELY DIFFERENT from what you are giving us.

I reconsidered. I'm not getting the subtle dark lashes unless they get fixed before release.
This is what happens when my Bosmer wears them:

It happens because my Bosmer has antlers.

The fact that this even made it on to the test server tells me there are people at ZoS who really don't care about the quality of their product.

A few thoughts re: appearance. As for eyelashes, I was very sad to discover that having eyelashes means my bosmer's antlers disappear. There are two small circles where the base of the horns were. Meh. It would be worth letting ppl know that certain combos may not be compatible, because folks will buy things and only afterwards find out they cant wear them with something else.

My other thought was about the hats. The Z'en hat show some hair, depending on the style you are wearing. If any of your head is shaved it shows bald tho. Even with Beaded Crested Dreads, it doesnt show any hair. I think it would look better if you could see the dreads, as you can with other dread styles. It isn't hard to remedy this by changing hairstyles, but it would be nice to have the option of keeping my regular hair and my hat.

I also think it should say somewhere that these cosmetics do not show when you are wearing a disguise.

Basic hairstyles only? why didn't you gave us the option for hairstyle change only for a lower price instead of forcing us to buy bundles.
