Guess What My Luck Has Run Out Concerning ESO PLUS On Xbox One!

I have been subscribed on Xbox One since November of 2015 and my plus sub has renewed successfully each and every time and payment was taken out today and voila no longer active nor do I have any crowns. I talked with a chat support representative for Xbox support and he believes that the patch update that's coming to ESO this Wednesday fixes this issue. So I guess we shall see since ZOS said they fixed it before when they really didn't, I know because I have been monitoring the forums on here. Well I hope this gets fixed soon either way as going through a big whole thing with support doesn't sound like fun after seeing all the posts on here.

The fix coming Wednesday is for console players constantly getting kicked at login. There was no mention of this Wednesday's patch fixing the ESO+ issues that I am aware of.

Been monitoring the forums?? There are lot of posts on the ESO+ issue. This issue is happening to a lot of console players on the renewal date since the release of DB. You need to contact Microsoft to resolve your issue, even ZOS support is telling everyone to contact Microsoft. Do a search in the forums on your issue and read the posts on how to resolve .....

Good luck, hope this helps .....

Same with me.. And a lot of other people it seems. Never had a problem and now eso plus is inactive, even after trying to renew again.. I'm so used to the crafting bag that I literally won't even play eso until it is fixed!

Without the crafting bag's or the other benefits I won't touch this game until it's fixed. I tried to contact Xbox Support to refund it, so I can attempt to do it again and he said I wouldn't need to as his information told him that this issue would be fixed sometime this week. I asked him if he meant this Wednesday with the patch(reason why I asked if Wednesday is the fix he means and I think the fix would need to be applied client and server side in order to be fully fixed) and he said yes I then asked him if he was absolutely sure, because as far as I know it's only supposed to fix crashing issues, he then said yes that he was 99.9% sure this was to include it. He also relayed my account name and report to the engineering team working with ZOS to fix the issue. I'm going to be a little weary until I know for sure it's fixed, and by that not nearly as many forum threads on this as there are now. I'm going to give this until the end of the month, if it's not fixed by then, I am cancelling my subscription, but until it is but NOT until it's fixed.

    @DragonSamurai360 .....

Below is the quote from Jessica on Wednesday patch, the link is here. If they are fixing other issues with the game like ESO+ no one from ZOS has stated on the forums as far as I know ......

The ESO+ issue in a new problem, it came after the crashing issue. If the ESO+ fix comes this week, then I am happy as it has effected me along with others. I will not be holding my breath for a fix this week for ESO+ as I do not think it is coming .....

If you want to wait till Wednesday, that is you choice. I hope I am wrong, but I think you will be disappointed. Sounds like you had an inexperienced support person. If it was me, I would be getting back on Microsoft Chat and requesting they to do a cancel/refund so you could re-subscribe to have access to the DLC & Craft Bag .....

    Hi everyone,

We have identified a cause of the majority of the crashes to dashboard and crash loops that some characters are getting caught in on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The issue is related to memory, and we have a fix that improves memory handling for both console clients.

We are rolling out this fix on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on Wednesday, July 6. Once this fix goes live, you should no longer see frequent crashes to dashboard and crash loops on specific characters.

In the meantime, we’d like to ask for your help. The highest volume of crash loops we’re seeing are in and around Orsinium and Wrothgar, especially where you pick up and do Crafting Writs, and to a lesser degree in Elden Root and Grahtwood. If you are experiencing crashing those areas, we ask that you please consider staying out of them until we patch the issue on Wednesday of next week—we’d greatly appreciate it. If your character does get stuck in a crash loop, our Support team can move your character if you contact them. If they do have to move your character, please be sure to not return to that area as they won’t be able to move you a second time until they’ve moved everyone waiting for their first character move – which could mean they won’t get to you before the 6th.

There is still one edge-case crash cause in Orsinium that we are working on a fix for, but it is easily avoidable. If you Wayshrine into Orsinium (the city) and quickly run into the city, especially with a movement speed buff on, you may crash. Waiting a few seconds before moving after you Wayshrine into Orsinium will greatly reduce the likelihood that you will crash. This issue will be fixed in a future patch.

Thank you for your patience as we worked to resolve this issue. After the patch goes live on Wednesday, please let us know if you are running into any other crash issues on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Yeah I completely agree it's a super long shot, but the guy said to wait until Wednesday if it does not get fixed by then he said he would look into seeing what else I can do. At that point I'm going to link him to the thread that AJ_1988 posted, as I have read that thread at least 6 million times and do what was suggested. I am really upset about it don't get me wrong, but I am doing what he is asking out of courtesy. As soon as I get the patch downloaded and find out if it is fixed or not and like you said most likely not, I will ask him to do a refund and try again, if it still doesn't work after that I will cancel my sub until I know for sure it is fixed. I could handle the low fps and a crash here and there and oddly I haven't gotten too many, but now I get why nearly the entire Xbox population of this game is so mad, If this was a company like Apple they would have had it fixed within a week and if it's super severe possibly within a month. This has been going on since the Xbox version launched and they said they supposedly fixed it a while back ], but look at how that turned out. Don't get me wrong game development and especially a game that is so large and incorporates many web elements is probably a pretty hard thing to do, especially since this game incorporates both ZOS and Microsoft servers and usually there's always those side company arguments about how to fix bugs and what promotion to do next that people like you and I never know about (I know because all companies do at least I am pretty sure).

@Balibe @Lexxypwns @WhoThenNow7 @AJ_1988 @zardenurghanb14_ESO Alright yeah the patch did NOT fix it, although I knew this would probably not get fixed with the patch, since they probably would have announced it in some form like social media or here on the forums. I contacted Xbox Support yesterday for a cancellation and refund and then I re-purchased it. It did fix the initial problem I had with not being able to access craft bag, DLC, 10% bonuses etc, but I now don' t have the Crowns, so I have contacted ESO Support and I am currently playing the waiting game. I hope they don't take 4 weeks to respond, because I really want to get the Turquoise Nixad and the Badger. Does this constantly happen with any of you guys where you have to go through so much trouble just to get what you paid for?

I had been receiving my crowns every month since the fix last November. Then the issue after DB, the fix with Microsoft also did not get the crowns on the re-subscribe.

@Balibe Hm I guess that's why I have been so lucky, as I subscribed about a week before the fix you mentioned was implemented in November, and everything has been smooth sailing since then. I have to say in a way it's kind of ironic everyone was looking forward to both Dark Brotherhood and the Craft bags and then the issue happens again lol. Well I guess the best thing we can hope for is that they implement something that fixes it before our respective renew dates next month.

I plan on unsubscribing before the expiration date, it should be active till the expiration date. Then renew after it expires. Hopefully this saves the Microsoft call to fix the issue until they apply a permanent fix .....

Good idea, I will probably do the same thing, since it probably won't be for a while anyways. I'll be honest I love my Xbox One, but I just a bought a PS4 recently and I love that a little bit more especially the controller, but at the time I started on console I had no idea I would have thought about getting a PS4. I'm a PC transfer user I came over from PC, because of enormous issues I had with my computer. I would have just bought both transfer options, but I thought I didn't think I would ever buy a PS4, well I guess I was wrong. Even though I have done a lot since then at this point if I had purchased the PS4 option I would be outta here, but I didn't and I will not start all over again for the sake of a petty issue that the devs can't seem to fix. My answer is then hire someone who can or at the very least add an add on for ESO PLUS in the add on section of the game and have us re buy it after the 30 days are up. Better yet add an option in the add on's section for ESO PLUS and leave the entirety of the billing up to Microsoft including the distribution of crowns associated with the sub. Maybe users like you and I won't have such a hay day putting up with this issue. Even then it still may not be entirely fixed, but at least if it does goes wrong we can contact one support system instead of two different teams.
