I have 2 Nightblades. A magicka version and a stamina version, and they both blow my other classes out of the water. Keep in mind that I have a magicka and stamina version of each class when I say this.
I mean, my magicka Nightblade is the only class I can get flawless conqueror with repeatedly with in VMA. And that is with little to no effort. If I want to go to PVP and farm AP? I just hop on 1 of my Nightblades, and I gain tons within an hour. It's literally the "easy mode" class. In fact, I see people both here on the forums and in-game telling newcomers to make a Nightblade, if they're interested in getting into the game. Or completing something like VMA. That's honestly sad. It really is.
I really wish people would stop trying to downplay the class, just because they don't want their class being "rebalanced" or "tweaked". It's getting pathetic now.
And by the way, it doesn't help that ZOS is making content after content that caters to Nightblades. Imperial City, Thieves Guild, and Dark Brotherhood all support an assassin/stealthy play-style. And guess which class is based on stealth? Nightblades. It's so annoying. There's 3 other classes to pick from, ZOS. 3. Not everything has to lean towards Nightblades excelling at everything over everyone. Okay? @ZOS_MattFiror @Wrobel @ZOS_RichLambert

lolno. I'm wearing 7 medium, 5 impen with ~30 points in resistant and the largest incap crit I've ever taken is ~8k. And it was from Ephitacy (sp?). Typical is lower than that. You're either lying about your numbers or you're not wearing any impen.

Agreed, at the moment they are balancing based off PVE feedback and not PVP feedback.
Not an accurate statement. Some would even say the opposite is true.

OK, a few points:
- So MagBlades are good in solo content (vMSA) and you want them nerfed for that? In group content, the DK out DPSes the MagBlade and the Templar outheals them
- StamBlades are bottom of the barrel in PvE
- Stam DK outperforms StamBlade in regular PvP. StamBlades are great gankers (always wear your Impenetrable ppl) and get a lot of burst from stealth, but once that's done and the target survives, StamBlades lose that edge. Especially against DKs since they just have to pop their Ulti and get everything back
- New players are often advised to make a Templar, with NB taking 2nd spot
- 3 DLC? I see only 2 (TG&DB). I mean, in IC Sorcs are just as dangerous as NB are. And where does it say anywhere in the description or ingame that IC was made for NB?
- Besides, the DB & TG skill lines are passives that don't do any good in PvE or PvP. You want NB nerfed for being able to do Heists or Sacraments better than the other classes or smth?
Try and be reasonable here

I have but 2 questions for you, comrade. And they both tie directly into this topic and my post. Alright? Lol. And the questions is the following...
By a chance, which class is currently the most dominant in PVP (meaning: Is the most deadly, seen the most, and used the most)? Also, which class currently makes PVE content (for the most part) the easiest to handle?
You're free to answer them as complex or as simple as you wish.

Most Deadly in PvP? Def the Stam DK
Fighting a Stam DK as a Magicka build is an uphill battle because of their Reflect. Sorcs get everything reflected right back at them, mine camping isn't reliable due to chains and MagBlades are forced to go melee with CW.
And while the StamBlade has good burst, in open world regular combat, the DK outperforms the NB. Especially with their resource management due to having access to a cheap 100 Ulti Dawnbreaker that does Physical Damage now
So yeah, I'd rank the Stam DK 1, and tbh I'd put StamBlade 2nd and MagPlar 3rd
Most seen in PvP? NB
Stealth/Rogue/Ninja classes are always popular. Plus a lot of ppl bandwagon, thinking they can get easy kills with smth that looks easy. So yeah, ganking looks like the easy way out then
PvE:
DPS: Stam/Mag DK. I have a Mag DK too and with the same gear and CP setup, I always get 5k more DPS than the MagBlade. And yeah, it's generally known that DKs can get monster DPS
Healing: Templar, NB is prob 2nd best
Tanking: DK again, it's the tank class
Solo: MagBlade-MagPlar tie
From personal experience ofcYour move
PS: Man, Sorcs need a srs buff btw

I wear 3 impen, 4 infused.
A good STAMINA NIGHTBLADE can hit hard. My own NB for example had 5k weapon damage, the Incap tooltip is 16k.
It can crit hard, does it land? Nah, rarely but when it does, oh my is it deadly. Specially the Fear->Incap combo
->I was going off tooltip by the way. Incap has one of the highest tooltips out there aside from DB For such cheap cost.
Now does that mean it needs a nerf? No, because Ambush SA spam almost always makes your stam run out fast, so why nerf them? They have hard management sometimes and take high damage. They rely on their damage to kill before being killed.Giles.floydub17_ESO wrote: »Forestd16b14_ESO wrote: »Not really nerfed but (and this applies to every class) need real balancing from a dev team that actually play the game....

It is accurate, they have more PVE content and are more worried about PVE content, why would they balance around PVP which in their eyes doesn't need working or fixing? Hell when they added poison they knew it'd unbalance PVP more but they said this "Oh you'll be rolled over by zergs anyways." Like they don't give a sh**.
