Yes, the simple black ones are day-one buy for me ^^
Not a big fan of the colorful ones, though.

Same ^^ And that eye makeup thingy is way too gaudy for my tastes.
I would like to see some less tacky makeup options...

And more exquisite hairstyles. Here's a few example of what I would buy for my characters:

No offense, but crown store designers could learn a lot from modmakers (quality-wise, not armored bikinis ofc). ;)

Omg, seeing the ones from Apachii Sky Hair, brings back lots of fond styling memories. They were some of the best. I do agree that sadly, the cosmetic and costume design in ESO, and TES games in general, is a weak spot. Skyrim was an amazing game with not so amazing vanilla hair and make up choices, cos admit it, if things looked great we wouldn't have been modding it to Oblivion. I think ESO could learn from that for sure, and give people something very high quality to add to their characters, esp if you are going to charge us real money for it in way of Crowns, and not in game gold.

Completely agree. The other two were completely ridiculous. I am also wondering why there are no new makeup choices!

Hair physics! While the old styles all possess the bounce and spring while running and riding, new styles like the Wrapped Horsetail just stick out like a stationary head sculpture. It is enough to warrant not purchasing, as these new ones do not look dynamic at all, and I'd be hesitant to purchase any new styles until I knew for certain they wouldn't look completely stiff and cardboardy.

I hear ya, Kagouti. Hair has not been a strong aspect of char design in this game tho. We have helmet type hair, hair that doesn't move, hair that gets clipped by shields, disappears under hats etc. It was this way since the beginning. Disappointed that they haven't used this time to improve it, now that they are rolling out big cosmetics for purchase, may be too late.

Theres even some kind of setback compared to the basic models.
As DomesticatedKagouti mentioned, new ponytail style doesnt even have the basic animations that the old one has. It just looks like a weird wooden stick.

This is the official feedback thread for the Hair Style Bundle (Crown Store.) Specific feedback that the team is looking for includes the following:
    • Was it clear what hair styles you could/couldn't use on your character and why?
    • Did they work as expected?
    • Is there anything you would like to see changed and/or added to the experience?

Two issues... one of these isn't strictly to do with the bundle, but there appears to be a bug where, when previewing hairstyles, the game doesn't properly remember the character's original style. Resulting in situations where, if you transition directly between two previews, you'll end up with the one you viewed first as your "permanent" style, until you log out. This will also overwrite equipped hair, and allows you to access premium styles "for free."

No idea if that's strictly a local issue or not.

Second thing, on the collections tab, there really needs to be a way to filter items to ones your current character can use. If I'm on a Breton, I'm never going to be able to use those Argonian and Khajiit hairstyles (without changing the character's race), if male, I won't be able to use the female styles, and vice versa. The invalid options make the interface far more cluttered than it needs to be.

ZOS_JessicaFolsom I found a bug. I was previewing a individual style from the crown store and exited to check my previously bought "hair style bundle" and equip one of those. My hairstyle did not change (still stuck with the previewed one). I had to log off to see the new selected style on my character.

@jcaceresw Was it the "buzzcut" hairstyle that got stuck on you by chance?

No, it happens with any hairstyle I preview.

How confusing. I think I just replied to this here. At least, all of the comments I made there are still applicable to this thread.

The one thing I will say about the Hair Style Bundle is that it was not at all obvious that it was only the hairstyles already in the game. I was chatting to my friends on Teamspeak as I went through it, and it was only after I said, "I swear that none of these hairstyles are new" that someone told me that I needed to buy the new hairstyles separately. Some clarification is needed here.

Definitely need a filter or make it searchable. Would be nice to have categories as well, like some addons use for materials. Costumes, hair styles, and so on.

Overall didn't get much a chance to play, but wasn't sure if you buy the hair pack you get all the ones listed below or not. I still need to go back and play with it a little more. I might have missed things while looking.

Was it clear what hair styles you could/couldn't use on your character and why?
Yes, on mouseover. I agree that the UI desperately needs a filter button, though.
    Did they work as expected?
They were on my head, yes. :D
Is there anything you would like to see changed and/or added to the experience?
    Yes!

    Beards

There are literally no good beards. The “I’m a grown-up male and haven’t shaved in a few days”-kind of beard. There’s some light stubble and a lot of stuff that requires effort to keep up, but no “my real beard was fried by a dragon”-Thorin Oakenshield-kind of beard. I think the game needs a few of those.
Also, the default beards are not available in the customisation menus, which does not make sense because it's something that changes quite frequently in males if you steal their razors.

    Hair styles

The new hairstyles are awesome, I especially love Tousled Poet. But certain things are rather lacking on the braid department: The lazy ponytail. ("I have hair and it's in the way, fortunately I have a rubber band / zip tie / shoelace"-kind of braid, Jessica, I assume you're familiar with that kind of ponytail.)
Ponytail with additional braiding would be awesome: http://tinyurl.com/fishponytail
More wavy hair like the awesome Tousled Poet - right now, it’s either By Kyne, it’s humid or spaghetti straight

I'm fairly certain that the modder community would be thrilled if you a) used their hairstyles, crediting them in the patch notes, or b) did what you did with Malukah and included their work into the game.

    Gender restriction

I can understand the decision to have females not growing beards (although it's possible with magic, you just need to alter the creational field, ask Lorence!). Thank you, I guess. You've saved me a few traumatic experiences.
But the gender-distinction for hairstyles makes no sense - women can make their hair look like every male hairstyle (yes, even "balding but distinguished", although it looks silly), and what would stop a guy from wearing fancy braids and flowers? It's especially sad because it's out of sync with how you're treating gender in the rest of the game.

First things first: I love that you made hairstyles/bodypaints/beards and all available anytime and not part of the appearance change token thingie.

These are the things I tripped over while trying around:
    - I love some of the new hairstyles, others look a bit like plastic. I also wonder why there is no simple hair-out-of-face tail hairstyle, and why many hairstyles are genderspecific without an obvious reason (plain long hair is only for males, for example). I'd love a free for all here.
    - There are two new beards, both pretty extreme. I wonder why you didn't include the beards you can choose at character creation and perhaps a few more simple beards. Beards are awesome, you know?
    - Seperating Khajiit/argonian fur/scale patterns and body paint would be absolutely awesome...
    - Seperating eyepads and beards to be able to have both in the same time would be absolutely awesome too...
    - Body markings on vampires are still faded. Isn't it possible to put the body markings on the top layer so it doesn't look like painted over with vampire paleness?

Agree with this comment in particular, I love that y'all added more customisation options and I very much appreciate and love the effort, my wish at this stage is to simply have a normal beard that fills the gap between stubble and magnificent.

I've seen this too. Also eyelashes seem to be stuck until relogging or changing costumes.

I previewed a hairstyle on the store, it stayed when I backed out, then when I went to collections it wouldn't let me change to anything else.

    Re-logging fixed.

    As others said

    - Needs method to hide styles you can't use
    - Need ability to zoom and rotate character in collections and crown store.

I noticed that my character's haircolour changed a lot when using certain hairstyles. A darker brown suddenly turned into blonde...

    d57a96d306.jpg

    c629e65934.jpg

This is the same haircolour. It's not only on dreads, by the way.
Since changing hair colour is only possible by using a token, this colour change is a bit too much for my liking.

EDIT: killed off the costume dyeing part here and posted it where it belongs...

Really disapointed with the widows peak hair style, might as well be balding style. The receeding hairline needs to be much closer to the forehead.

Also I do not like how I have to sift through gender and race styles I cannot use with my character. Why can't we have an option to just see the ones we can use with that particular character?

In the collections tab you need to only be able to see the styles that are actually available to your race/gender.

also it'd be nice to know what you're thinking of charging for this in the real crown store. That's going to be a big part of people's feedback.

Copying this from the Style Parlor Feedback thread, since I think it may be more appropriate here:

If I understand correctly, this bundle allows you to buy all the existing hairstyles in a single pack to add to Collections and thus change at any time without using an Appearance Change token. If so, and if they don't already exist - I haven't looked closely enough to check whether they do or not - it should also be possible to buy bundle packs of all the existing adornments, head markings, and body markings. All of these bundle packs should clearly indicate that they don't include any new styles.

Filters are definitely needed in the Collections to indicate only the things that are "Usable by this character".

Is there some mechanical reason for this? Do the male styles not fit the female head model or something?
