Yes, the simple black ones are day-one buy for me ^^
Not a big fan of the colorful ones, though.

I hear ya, Kagouti. Hair has not been a strong aspect of char design in this game tho. We have helmet type hair, hair that doesn't move, hair that gets clipped by shields, disappears under hats etc. It was this way since the beginning. Disappointed that they haven't used this time to improve it, now that they are rolling out big cosmetics for purchase, may be too late.

ZOS_JessicaFolsom I found a bug. I was previewing a individual style from the crown store and exited to check my previously bought "hair style bundle" and equip one of those. My hairstyle did not change (still stuck with the previewed one). I had to log off to see the new selected style on my character.
@jcaceresw Was it the "buzzcut" hairstyle that got stuck on you by chance?

Yes, on mouseover. I agree that the UI desperately needs a filter button, though. Was it clear what hair styles you could/couldn't use on your character and why?
They were on my head, yes.Did they work as expected?
Yes!Is there anything you would like to see changed and/or added to the experience?
There are two new beards, both pretty extreme. I wonder why you didn't include the beards you can choose at character creation and perhaps a few more simple beards. Beards are awesome, you know?

Here are the hats and some of the (really awful) hairstyles: http://gawad-du.enjin.com/gallery/m/26947488/album/275371

Resulting in situations where, if you transition directly between two previews, you'll end up with the one you viewed first as your "permanent" style, until you log out. This will also overwrite equipped hair, and allows you to access premium styles "for free."

Gender restriction
I can understand the decision to have females not growing beards (although it's possible with magic, you just need to alter the creational field, ask Lorence!). Thank you, I guess. You've saved me a few traumatic experiences.
But the gender-distinction for hairstyles makes no sense - women can make their hair look like every male hairstyle (yes, even "balding but distinguished", although it looks silly), and what would stop a guy from wearing fancy braids and flowers? It's especially sad because it's out of sync with how you're treating gender in the rest of the game.

I agree. Stuff like this sends a pretty dark message:
Is there some mechanical reason for this? Do the male styles not fit the female head model or something?
[Edit -- But some styles are NOT restricted by gender, so it makes no sense]
