Stuck at work for 4 more hours :( can't wait to get on the PTS... Anyone tried them yet on PTS? Please report back on any progression etc :)

    PLEASE tell me they are difficult. I'm hoping for something like ICP / WGT when they first dropped difficult

    ZOS' mentality nowadays is "dungeons are for casuals, trials are for hardcores".
    I kinda like it that way too. If you want challenging 4man content, go do vDSA.

    Fair enough. At least they are all getting scaled up.

    I'm not into super insanely hardcore stuff (At least I'm starting to be sick of "Hardcore" on my vMA grind).

    I Just wouldn't mind SOMETHING that my group wasn't facerolling through.

    Finished them both. They weren't that hard. Though I would say mazzatun is harder than vwgt and vicp

    Good to hear, zos mentioned in eso live they are gonna be around or abit harder than wgt/icp, glad they delivered :)

    My boyfriend and I finished normal Ruins of Mazzatun, then went to try out normal Cradle of Shadows. We couldn't progress any further after killing Dranos Velador since there was a switch/lever that we had to press and we were stuck in combat because his essence orbs were still up. We couldn't /stuck either, since we were stuck in combat... So we had to run out of the dungeon manually, haha.

    Normal Ruins of Mazzatun is pretty difficult even if you do know the mechanics to it. Normal Cradle of Shadows was a lot easier (what we did finish of it), although the darkness mechanic in the spider caves where you can light braziers is annoying since the snare can't be removed with shuffle. Getting the achievement "Fear No Darkness" is going to be pretty annoying to get.

    Our group was doing some vwgt farms one day, amd completely glitched out the dragonguard fight so we were stuck in sa,e situation. teleporting to cyrodiil did the tridk.

    Ok reporting back.. couldnt get a good team going so we end up duoing normal Cradle of shadow and completed it. Some very interesting mechanics and 4th & 5th boss can't be burned straight away like the first 3. (Encountered the same bug as @Calysis where one of us need to run out of dungeon to get out of combat for lever pull) Also note due to one of the bosses mechanics this dungeon cannot be soloed.

    Interestingly final boss/chest drops the jewellery for the new sets, so I assume the drop patterns are similar to our current SO/Maw trials.

    If anyone who is experienced Pve'er (PC NA) from aussie timezone and can get online 1-5am EDT (6-10pm AEST) and interested in running these dungeons in vet then please let me know :)

    Over and over and over and over , good way to keep players interested.

    We need some hard 4 man dungeons that take a while to complete not be hard for the first run then face roll.

    Or give the opportunity to run them with 6 man group and ramp up the difficulty every ones a winner then.

    We finished Ruins of Mazzatun Veteran last night.

    Very fun, unique mechanics, but not hard to complete by any stretch and this is using 300 CP characters with mostly bad gear, on live it won't be difficult at all.

    However, ZOS said they wanted these dungeons to be "about the same difficulty as current vICP/vWGT" and I'd say they hit the nail on the head, that's exactly what it feels like.

    That's sooo exciting! I am definitelg grinding that jewelry. hell yeah zos, hell yeah.

    Yes, you get setpieces from all bosses, jewelry from last boss. Does anyone know, if you get gold jewelry from hardmode? We did only nonHM.

    But i agree....those dungeons are easy on PTS with templates and will be even easier when they go live. That's really disappointing imo :disappointed:

    I'd do it if people didn't just *** around with the new personalities and cosmetics. What a waste of hard drive space it was to install PTS.

    They're easy for the players who think ahead, plan and have skills they can swap to and the foresight to realize they should swap to those skills.

    For the average player (who is not part of the forums on a regular basis) these are not easy.

    We were able to track this down and should have a fix in an upcoming PTS. Its related to Dranos dying with his Essence Orbs still up.

    We didn't need to swap any skills in a group of 3 with template characters. As soon as we figured out the mechanics it wasn't that hard at all. In a group of 4 it was really easy :/
    What's the problem with dungeons, where you need to think about skills and such? atleast for the first weeks it would be nice if those dungeons would provide a challenge :disappointed:

    I didn't say there was a problem, I'm only mentioning that these will in may ways become the new ICP And WGT as far as completion goes.

    nah, not all of us have great internet. db took me 12hrs to download when it shouldve taken 3 for anything else that size. Downloading updates isn't alwayd fun :(

    I kinda don't mind where zos is going, making trials more hardcore amd dungeons more middlecore. I think they took a decent approach to making them longer. esp on console lemme tell you, most players genuinely suck amd flat don't care. We can easilly run city of ash with our core group in like 8-10 minutes, where most group finder groups take 2-3hrs and you have to solo all the bosses because the tank/healer/dps die to their own shadows.

    it works, even if it's still easy making it longer extends the comtent for those that can simplu blow up the bosses/adds.

    idk, seems fair tbh. at least they're aknowledging us.

    You mean actually try out and test all the new things to see if there are bugs or issues before it goes to live, you know test all the stuff on the test server.
