So it's immature to ask if the chat is moderated, after witnessing the same exact people spamming the same words every 5-10 seconds throughout the whole live stream? ok.

    i was memeing you ironically

There's some kind of moderation because posts were being zapped during last night's top secret ESO Live: So Secret We Didn't Tell You It Was Happening edition.

I think the real question is: why do Zenimax continue to dodge the legitimate hard questions that get asked in chat?

Yeah it came out of nowhere. No heads up, just remained TBD until they just suddenly decide to stream it. Due to how long it is between streams people stopped asking about when the next one is here so they didn't have that to reply to either. They probably only mentioned it on reddit or something...

They posted on Twiter, Facebook, then main website page, and on the forum that they were doing one on Friday.

As far as questions go, they tell you the topic of conversation for the day. It isnt an open forum. They state the focus of the show and that theyll answer questions pertaining to the current topic. They also stated several times that they will be going over the changes for PvP next week.

I like to show some respect when ZOS puts on their show. ESO Live is not on very often, so I simply ask normal questions and enjoy the new content (which looks great).

This past ESO Live I even had two good questions of mine answered because I'm not immaturely spamming "Wut about pvp" or "REMOVE AOE CAPS" like a child, hiding behind the the similar wall of comments because it is to hard to distinguish/ban me.

Let it out on the forums if you want to complain about PvP, not the show. Seriously they were finally showing off brand new, difficult group dungeons! FINALLY. Still, PvP people had to come in and ruin chat.... Smh

Remember they have an agenda, and literally will not answer your "hard" questions. It gets nowhere and only gives them less incentives to have more shows.

If you are so bothered by it, close the chat or mute the spammers. Speaking from experience, Zenimax tends to ignore the most important questions from the community in favor of easy questions, spamming the hell out of them is the only way to force an answer out of the guys in ESO Live.

Except.... they won't answer them. No matter what. They're not putting on a show to say they messed up a lot and are working on it. Both ZOS and the playerbase know this already! Go crazy with your immature PvP spam when Wrobel shows up.

Don't come in when ZOS finally shows worthwhile content and ask for AOE caps to go. It disrupts chat and stops legitimate questions from being answered.

Actually, not exactly true. What ZOS is looking for during "Update Shows" are questions about the update, particularly ones that allow them to highlight features of the Update that might not have been covered, or been clear. These ESO Live shows are as much about information about the Update as it is promotional material to help sell the update.

Spamming them about stuff they are not going to talk about accomplishes nothing.

I didn't see anything on the forum; which sub-forum was it posted in? I would have thought they'd have posted an announcement at the top of each page days in advance. I'm old-fashioned and think that all information about a product or service should always be posted on the office website, and before getting posted anywhere else.
Even on the internet, clear communication is important; it can be the difference between "helping your Uncle Jack off a horse" and "helping your uncle jack off a horse"; the difference between "knowing your s***" and "knowing you're s***".

I don't think they would have been spamming #FixESOonConsoles if they had a working copy of the game to play on there console.

    Just a thought.

I honestly thought Kai or whatever his name is usually did the moderating of the chat. But since he was on the actual show, maybe they had to fill in with people who are less.....experienced....with deleting comments from the chat

    Ahhh.. fair enough :p

I like to participate in the chat every ESO Live show that I tune in for, so I opted to ignore many folks on this last show. For the spammers, when I right clicked their name, I was prompted for a reason for the ignore and I chose the spam option.

I dont know if they have one, but a simple bot in the chat could easily dissuade this sort of behavior.

Never have chat open but as a PvP player that is pretty inmature.

Agreed, but Zenimax are just as much to blame. They have nearly 200 pages of questions in a thread they started, specifically so those questions could be answered on ESO Live. I know it's true because it says so right there in the first post of that thread:

    V4IM875.png

It's almost as if people treat Zenimax employees like adults by expecting them to live up to their word.

That's from when ESO Live was customer service show. It is now a sales show, only appers when they have new DLC to promote and only addresses that. There will be another ESO Live before the DLC comes out, again, they won't answer anything. Expect ESO Live to then vanish until about Sept/Oct when they have new content to 'sell'
