If it works for myself and everyone I know, it indicates that this is most likely a specialized problem, because otherwise it would be universal. It could be something with the source of payment everyone is using who has the problem, it could be a localization problem if you're in another country, all of which indicates it's on your end. If it were on ZOS or Microsoft's then it would be much more likely to impact everyone. [/quote]

This is where I disagree and I would like to point out saying something is on "your end" implies you can do something to fix it. When discussing technical difficulties with software this implies that it is something you can do without moving to another country or changing banks.

If ZOS is having issues with a particular bank that is an issue for ZOS(if they do not explicitly state they will not work with certain banks or payment options).
If ZOS is having an issue with a country location that is a ZOS issue again unless they specifically state they will not work in the area you are in.

When ZOS has set up a system in which you agree to contracts such as X paid for access to Y content, and you meet all of the requirements for X and access to Y then it is very much something on ZOS' end. That doesn't mean it is not related to some arbitrary flag denoting the consumer in some what but that in no way then becomes the consumers problems because of how ZOS coded things.

@SwaminoNowlino Your logic is twisted and, you arguing this as specialized problem because you and everyone you know doesn't have a problem is just the stupidest thing I've ever heard. When did the world start revolving around you?

    When I was born...

But all kidding aside, my logic is perfect. You can disagree but you can't argue my logic. If all of you have a problem, and everyone I know doesn't, then the issue isn't likely to be a global issue with ZOS or Microsoft. What if you all are using the same method of payment? Maybe the issue is getting that processed. Maybe you all live in the same country, there could be an issue there. So instead of posting hyperbole, you can post specifics of your problem and they would have a much easier time diagnosing, instead of looking on their end for something that may not be there.

Your logic is highly egocentric. I wouldn't expect someone who's been thinking like that for years to understand. In the first part of your post you can see it again lol, I'm done.

I live in the US and make my transactions through my Microsoft account, Microsoft has confirmed transactions and puts the issue squarely on ZOS. Does that mean it's ZOS not necessarily but whether its poor coding by ZOS because they are bad coders or a conflict created by arbitrary denotation of clients non of which are the consumers problem. The my other games on xbox are working fine, I have followed all ZOS trouble shooting steps including re-installing the client. The issue rests squarely with ZOS, it might be related to a consumer flag but it is not a consumer issue.

It may be worth trying if you want the service, but I agree you shouldn't have to do it if you don't trust it. They could likely try it on their end but I would suppose they have decided not to for whatever reason. That is unfortunate. If you want the service then I recommend trying PayPal, but I understand if you don't trust it. Not everyone has $15 they can throw away on a maybe.

Sorry Toc I didn't see this, seems like something got messed up with the quotation. Your end was meant to imply your end of the transaction (bank, payment service, card, whatever). If this can be dialed down, it would be much easier to diagnose the problem. Its not necessarily on ZOS's end, as maybe your bank schedules the payment after a cut off that results in ZOS registering a lack of payment. Stuff like that.

I would note that I switched payment methods when I switched from PC to Xbox One last year when the game released on Xbox One and I have had no issues for a year up until 6 days ago when my account renewed. Because of this I don't think it is related to payment methods.

I would also like to note that I am perfectly fine if you are angry with me. You're well within your rights as long as you abide by forum rules. Zenimax is clearly lacking in the customer service department, as evidence from the F off messages from Chet. So if we can work amongst ourselves to narrow down the problem we can maybe get it addressed.

As I mentioned in my response to Toc, I will admit I lack bedside manner. Criticism is perfectly okay, but note that ultimately my goal is to help.

Hey, don't beat up on @SwaminoNowlino
His/her logic is sound and they are only trying to help. Not sure why he is becoming the target of frustration.

Instead of calling them illogical or ignorant, provide more info about your situation, like suggested.
Thanks @imnotanother but I understand their frustration. Zenimax has pretty clearly demonstrated their inability to get stuff resolved, I'm just trying to help by culling misinformation and hopefully presenting them with something that may help them. I will also admit I don't have the best bedside manner, my wife frequently calls me Spock, which she intends as an insult but I wear as a badge of courage that serves to infuriate her further.
Oh I agree that their situation is beyond frustrating but like you stated ad hominem attacks (shooting the messenger) do not help.

I felt like you presented logical steps that could be followed o help deduce the potential causes of the problem. Just felt like you needed support.

Years ago, I worked customer service for a large online retailer and would experience the most hateful threats/statements from disgruntled customers. I was their punching bag...trying to solve their problems.

I worked in customer service for years and am so thankful to be out of it. I have respect for these people, even if they are doing a bad job. This stuff, especially the attacks, sticks with people more than folks like to admit. So I try to help where I can. I've had disagreements with OP in the past being beligerent, so I will admit my initial post wasn't worded as well as id have liked, some frustration did leak through. I've just tried to explain this in the past sooooo many times

Here, since you all are so enraged, let me help by acting as an example. A post such as this is much more likely to bring results than posting hyperbolic statements.

I live in the USA and make my transaction with PayPal. I have no issues with ESO + and never have.

Where do you live and how do you pay?

Yeah... no. I shouldn't have to make aspects of my private life public from them to figure something out that is indeed on their end. It's a services that I paid for that isn't functioning properly. I described the problem of not getting crowns and eso plus cutting out from time to time and, now it's on them because they wanted to sell this product without understanding wholly.

Your logic is highly egocentric. I wouldn't expect someone who's been thinking like that for years to understand. In the first part of your post you can see it again lol, I'm done.
Argumentum ad hominem is a logical fallacy.

I agree but, do you not agree that your views are egocentric?

I absolutely disagree because you're deliberately misinterpreting what I said and why I said it, which I've explained quite thoroughly and the logic of which is flawless.

As for your post about not giving them information, well then sorry but have fun with that attitude getting you through life. "Hello sir, my power is out and I demand it be fixed but I refuse to tell you where I live or give you my account number."

    It really isn't lol.

And that's an entirely different scenario that I wouldn't be making public for thousands of people to see.

I've admitted it wasn't worded the best. It wasn't a complete statement, which I should have amended. I've admitted to precious disagreements with OP which fostered some frustration. But that's beside the point. Fact of the matter is that this issue is not universal and saying it is does not serve to get this solved for anyone. To solve this problem for the people who are having it, we must dial in on the issue. If you'd care to, your input could help with this effort.

Um yes it auto renews and has for MONTHS just like it has been broken for me and other guild members for MONTHS.
I must be mistaken, you keep insisting you are trying to solve our problem however I do not see a green z by your name indicating you are a zos employee.
So I can talk to you as well til I'm blue in the face and YOU can't help me.
So how exactly can you help us other than your condescending holier than thou comments?
