I initially wanted to get into this whole debate with you over your passively insulting statement about players and the way they choose to experience this game, but I really hate debates in general and I know it'd result in nothing more than a frustrated migraine. So I'll just resort to this.

No they don't because they Nerf all of that content so casual players can finish them.Recently they nerfed WGT and ICP because not enough causal players have completed it.Bonzodog01 wrote: »In the overall context of things, with One Tamriel, this game becomes more about enjoying the game with friends, Exploration, and the storyline/lore of The Elder Scrolls.
For ZOS, their target for openworld content is not meant to be challenging - its about learning the story, learning the lore, exploring the world, seeing new things.
ZOS do provide a Hardcore challenge in the shape of Trials and Vet dungeons. There is challenging content in the game, but its roped off into the above.

This is something I noticed after playing beta/release then coming back a few weeks ago, my son and I started new characters and we are blitzing through it, it's far too easy, we don't need to concern ourselves with strategy to take down a tough mob, no need for potions nor to keep our gear up to our level, no need to use a certain element against a creature who is vulnerable to it, click a few buttons and it's dead, it has just become too themepark, back in release, I died a lot, it forced me to think.
So my boy has gone back to Skyrim and I'm just enjoying the storyline, there is little satisfaction and zero challenge.

Have you also done the world bosses?

How can you complain about stuff being too easy when you don't even solo it in one or two attempts?
...
It's meant to be a world boss i.e. group content and therefore faceroll if attempted by a group. To deprecate me for being honest enough to say that when I did this solo it took a few attempts feels somewhat extreme.

(For the record, I'm not saying the OP himself was complaining about the CP cap, but I've heard/seen multiple people who faceroll current content complaining that the CP cap wasn't increased, and then complaining about how they currently faceroll everything.)

If you want hard content, do vMoL HM or go PvP (not in a rofl zerg though). Those are the only challenging places left.
Yes and I do.
What I expect is some decent content with my DLC so as a customer my expectations are not being met at all.

His assessment of the player base is no more informed than yours. None of us have any idea of what the majority of the player base spends their time doing. I'd be more inclined to suspect the average player participates 50/50 in PVP and PVE. None of us have any numbers informing us of what the majority does. So let's not disparage others. All of this can be quite easily solved by implementing a normal/vet system for zones. The starter zone should be always normal, and then players have the choice to challenge themselves with vet and be rewarded with slightly better gear, or normal depending on their skill level just like the other dungeons.martinhpb16_ESO wrote: »Well what do you expect in a game meant and made for casual players?

So... YOUR expectations should be taken into consideration over the majority of players in the game? Here is a suggestion, get a bunch of money together and create your OWN game... that way you can scale the content any way you want. Until then, ESO has to scale the content to appeal to the maximum amount of players possible... and just an FYI, Matt Firor just stated that they're going to this 'small content DLC' system now because it appeals more to casuals.

ZOS only cares about Money £££ $$$
€€€. They cater to the majority for bigger profits/ stats etc.

Very sorry to hear that you consider yourself an "average player" even though you are (other than a few deaths) soloing the world bosses in Gold Coast. Do you honestly think that the average player solos world bosses in the DLC content?
There has been some discussion in the forums about improving the difficulty for players (including possibly a difficulty slider). But so far that's only discussion in the forums. ZOS's history of nerfing content, most recently WGT and ICP, does not indicate major DLC patches will be challenging in the near term.
So, the best advice is to take a look at some good options the other forum-goers (including myself) have posted here in this thread ... and think critically about what they've said.
Or, you can ignore that advice ... which would be continuing on with this rant thread (Thread Title: Seriously!! Gold Coast so easy what is the point?) and cherry picking the player responses you're opposed to with a rebuttal.

Dare I say "implement true play how you want"

A wandering Minotaur (or Minotaur Shaman) on the gold cost is NOT group content, nor is it a world boss. Not even close.
I solo them all the time, and I'm a gimp PVE carebear that has outdated gear. If you want a fight, go look for a REAL fight, not some overland trash mob.

Or create content in a zone for all playstyles as when the game launched, which will require the entire player community to be grown up enough to accept without cries of nerf or complaints of faceroll

The lack of actual multiplayer content in DLC's is what I don't understand.....one trial ...and then nothing but easy mode solo content...
