Would you like a transmog option for armour/weapons?

A transmog /wardrobe feature is pretty standard for MMOs but it will never happen with the way they sell costumes because it would impact sales.

This needs to happen, my friends and I thought of how nice it would be to create our own outfits, yet keep the stats of our actual gear on underneath! Would love this to happen, it would be easy to implement. Lots of people are saying 'WoW this, WoW that'. Honestly near every MMORPG has this feature, I was sort of shocked that ESO didn't as they have a lot of cool things that the community could use yet we're limited to 160 gear. LOTRO, WoW, GW1, GW2, Runescape, and all of those communities love the feature. Cannot see why it would be a bad thing in any way! ;)

Simple work-around. Charge 150 Crowns per trans consumable. Fair price, and we get limitless customization!

I wouldn't mind it to much. There are some really cool looking sets that drop that I wish I could keep to change into my crafted gear.

My only change right now would be to color your weapons. Making VR16 swords that are red and armor that you dyed a different color triggers my OCD. But hey, first world problems right?

    No, it's different, actually.
    Transmog changes the item itself.
LOTRO's outfitting "equips" a top layer of items over the items, without changing them.
I think he meant that they're both systems to customize a character's cosmetic appearance. It does look like LOTRO has a much more robust customization system. WoW is streamlining their own customization system in their next expansion (thank goodness) with an index that saves the appearance of any gear your character has found before (so you don't need to hang on to everything anymore). That will bring WoW closer to what LOTRO has, and hopefully ESO would go for a system close to LOTRO's.
