So I have been real busy at work and have not had a chance to run 1.6. I am curious, has any VR14 healers had a chance to run after the update, and if so, what is the thoughts for healing skills? I run a Templar and rely mostly on Restro Staff skills.

    BAR #1
    BoL
    Healing Springs
    Combat Prayer
    Purifying Ritual or Efficient Purge
    Inner Light

    BAR #2
    BoL
    Healing Springs
    Luminous Shards
    Spell Symmetry
    Inner Light

    ULTI - Super Nova

Is this still good, or are the skills drastically different? I will log and read, I just thought that maybe someone who has had a chance to play with it may have some thoughts. And are you (whomever answers) still running the full LA, or some other combo of gear. Just curious, if anyone isn't to busy running the game rather than stuck on the forums like myself. ;)

I like your build really depends on what kind of group you're running with. I am either solo'ing and/or running 3-12 man groups primarily so I have Harnessed Magicka on my bar for increased survivability in those cases when enemy teams actually try to focus me it requires them to have 4-5 people on me if I don't have another heal/support with me. If I do then good luck you're better off zerging my group haha.

Thanks. I tried it out some last night after CP points, and respect. It doesn't have the same effects as before. Not sure if weaker, just different. I did find that I didn't even have to look at my magicka. It stayed almost full with the new regen. I like that. Means Spell Symmetry may be out for something else. Where is Harnessed Magicka skill from?

It is Annulment active skill from Light Armor skill line morphed.

Hmm..one I have not worked on. I will be leveling that this week and giving it a go. Thanks.
Follow me if I advance, Kill me if I retreat, Avenge me if I die.

When this immediate evil power has been defeated, we shall not yet have won the long battle with the elemental barbarities. Another evil, it may be an invisible adversary, will attempt, again, and yet again, to destroy our frail civilization. Is it true, I wonder, that the only way to escape a war is to be in it?

If I die, you are forgiven, If I live, I will kill you.

The Engine Guardian set is superior to the Warlock set and probably more easily obtainable (maybe).

but is a) ruptable, b) not reliable (having 5x health refills in a row as a templar zuckz - or not at all) c) its randomness in the trait/armortype composition can make it a pain in the ass... (62 runs for my first helmet... wich was rather a useless composition for me but has to be worn)

spelling and grammar errors are free to be abused

Templar healer here. I rarely seem to have magicka issues, so I go Julianos/Twilight's Embrace. I'd go Julianos/Magnus if I did.
I like spell crit/power, sue me.

Eyes of mara is a pretty solid set just for the reduction cost on healing staff abilities, using cagrenacks and will power at the moment and dont have any issues with resources.

But only heal when guild is desperate....

Well let's necro it back to relevance.

    I run 5 kags and 5 transmutation.

Transmutation was a great set for pvp. Aside from that it always seems like they release average sets for healing and its like 4 dps sets per 1 mildly attractive healer set. They ignore us.
Hollykills CP 630 Templar Healer - Ad PS4 Warlord Rank

    Max Stam/Mag Dk
    Max Stam Sorc
    Max Stam/Mag NB

Don't care to dps much so I heal.
