I'M SO EXCITED
Make Forward Camps only purchasable at the towns opposite your faction, Columbine and Namira's Rot at another town, and then all the new AP sets at the third. @ZOS_BrianWheeler @ZOS_JessicaFolsom Give us incentives to run around and fight over the towns in addition to just "here's a flag that may or may not contribute to the campaign."

... my inventory would still be big enough to visit towns VERY VERY rarely

Also, who asked for it from the PvP community?

@ZOS_JessicaFolsom: What happened to Murkmire? Has it been killed and are the two dungeons salvaged and now presented as DLC? Or am I too jaded?

No unfortunetly you're right, Murkmire looks dead and the dungeons are the leftover scraps you get instead. This dlc looks more like a crown store cash grab then any before it. Sure you can change your name, looks, race, but you need to pay for it in crowns. Matt did say he wanted to do away with large dlcs and just give us little pieces now and again.
The real question remains again. Same as when they introduced new changes in IC. Will the towns generate points for the faction who control them on the scoreboard? If it is only a free spawn and a way to spread people out, I won't be that impressed really.

It's sounding like it's only a respawn point and gear vendor. Hopefully the updated purple sets they're planning on selling on worth fighting for...

Wheeler is a smart guy. I have to think that the team knows that "if you build it, they will come..." might not be operable in Cyrodiil. The towns are going to need some food pellets. I don't think being a spawn point and selling the normal pvp gear is going to cut it.
Yeah, Bruma currently doesn't have any Alliance presence at all, unlike the other two which have guards based on the nearest keep. The residents in Bruma even point out the fact that Dragonclaw hasn't sent any reinforcements.Good. Hopefully it will be a fun addition. They may have to re-structure the towns to fit it though. Bruma especially.
Probably for fairness. That's one town in each territory, with each one reasonably close to a keep (Cropsford near Drakelowe, Vlastarus near Brindle, and Bruma near Dragonclaw). If they did it for all towns, there would be an imbalance, as DC and EP both have two, while AD only has one.arkansas_ESO wrote: »Why only three towns?
Yeah, compared with the other two, Bruma is much closer to a keep. It's probably only have the distance from Dragonclaw to Bruma as it is from Brindle to Vlastarus.Am I the only one concerned with the balance of two towns kinda in the middle of three keeps versus one that is right next to one?

At least now we'll be able to change the alliance ownership of a town directly. It's quite annoying, as an AD player, when you're trying to quest in Vlastarus and all the guards are DC because DC own Brindle. Besides, some PvPers hang around the quest hubs to gank questers anyway. Consider it the other way around, too; now that towns are capturable, there will be more incentive for PvPers of your faction to go there to capture it, and they will drive off the gankers of other alliances, whereas they may have not bothered before.bloodenragedb14_ESO wrote: »as a person that doesnt like pvp much, this literally limits my reasons to going into cyrodiil from 1, to zero. the only reason i went to cyrodiil before was the pve quests offered by the towns, but now that they are going to battle objectives, they will be even more crowded with gankers.

Can't blame that on him when Cyrodiil clearly has PvE objectives that are linked to PvE achievements.bloodenragedb14_ESO wrote: »as a person that doesnt like pvp much, this literally limits my reasons to going into cyrodiil from 1, to zero. the only reason i went to cyrodiil before was the pve quests offered by the towns, but now that they are going to battle objectives, they will be even more crowded with gankers.
Your problem is that you went to Cyrodiil for PvE.
