DB blocked me from VMA Leaderboards

This kind of sucks. I use to be able to make VMA leaderboards on my magicka templar with 275-300k (PS4 NA)
Many weeks there were not even a full 100 people on the leaderboards.
Sunday I went to check my in-game mail to see what my weekly reward was and noticed that there was no mail to receive.
Confused I checked the leaderboards and saw that I did not make it.
My only conclusion is that with the release of DB a ton of people have max alts now and they can run VMA with them and make the leaderboards as well.
This kind of sucks, I guess I have to work harder next time.

Just a little joke about what happened to the VMA boards on the PC.
On a more serious note, yeah VMA is getting more competitive and I think lots of people are finding out how to play classes they hadn't had easy access to before for this content. It's a way to challenge yourself with a new class. Interesting to see how different people do it, still haven't played the game on console. Been wondering what it'd be like with a controllerNA EP

Templar leaderboards on PS4 were pretty easy for a long while. If you got a score over 200k, most of the time you were getting rewards. I did notice a creep upward on the last few weeks before DB launched. I think last Sunday it was 375k+ I did not run it for a reward yesterday, but earlier in the week the scores were pretty low still.0 -
DurzoBlint13✭✭✭✭this is what happens when people are offering vMA runs for 100K-250K gold. I have heard it in area chat several times and know 3 people that have done it for other people. I know the weapons are great but I would never let some one else play my account just to get a piece of gear. I wish they would check IP addresses a bit more often and look for discrepancies.0

yeah, stevepdodson is probably from EU PC server, you can't get on the leaderboard there without 666k score
on NA PC templar leaderboard isn't even full sometimes

Yeah it's unfortunate, my best ever was about 375k. It was a bit difficult adjusting to the new harness magicka for me and after some post analysis I realize that my nirnhorned torugs pact swords are nowhere as good as they use to be. I need to remake those to sharpened because I definitely felt like my dps wasn't the same against the last boss. That could possibly be due to the rumours I heard about thurmaturge as well.
Can't complain tho as everyone else had to deal with the same thing as well.
It's just unfortunate, I really dislike spending 2+ hours in maelstrom for one chance at the maelstrom weaponry.0
