Not to poop on chief's parade, but as a general sentiment, why do people praise all the 1vX videos against low levels and people brand new to pvp? Seriously. I don't get it. Do you actually find it impressive, or are you just patting these people on the back because you like them? Chief is an excellent pvper, but why are these videos a thing? Show me a video of you 1vXing a small invictus group or something, but against mostly people that are no where near v16? Please, someone explain it to me.
I'd much rather watch him 1v1 a great player even if it ends in a stalemate. Those are far more enjoyable fights imo. I never understood why people like watching other people play the game on a stream, and I guess I'll never understand these kinds of videos. I realize I'm in the minority on that.
I agree 100%. Ultimately, I blame the game design that has created a culture of enthusiast vs casual in ESO. I don't think people watch 1vX because it's enjoyable per se--in the same way professional sports are enjoyable--but rather to emulate.
The entire "chase me" metagame is practically a subculture.

You're right. Most of the time, successful 1vX videos are against players with less skills. And this is what it should be. Otherwise that would mean that the game is not balanced properly. I still find it alot more enjoyable to watch Chief, Lowpolicy or Aelnir killing a ton more with a few of them rather than watching a 24men ballgroup killing 30-40pugs. Requires alot more discipline and skills.I'd much rather watch him 1v1 a great player even if it ends in a stalemate. Those are far more enjoyable fights imo. Doesn't matter if it's against casuals. The fact that the player or small group is largely out numbered demonstrates alot more their level and experience of the game mechanics rather than one player part of a 24men group in a large fight against 40 zerglings let say. The small group cannot rely on that many buffs, synergies and are alot more vulnerable to focus targeting by massive amount of gap closers and ccs.
Well done Chief
He is better than me, therefore he cheats. That's how this forums thing is supposed to work right?
xDSeniors beating up freshmen. Never gets old.

I just want to point out that imo you are wrong about a vet, running around one shotting a group of Lowbies that's never played the game to any real extent being more DISCAPLINED and skilled than a Ball group wiping a Group of 40 people at say a castle. It may indeed be funner, but I don't see more skill in it. the ball group has to be organized they have to call when to go in when to go out who to stack on who to focus at what time what Skills need to be Spammed at the time and when you can dodge and run away from Good players when you're 1vX, when you Ball up to fight a massive fight odds are once you've found the enemy you don't have time to run unless you're leaving your ball group behind you. in which case you would be singled out and hammered. ALSO I'd like to note that when you are in a ball group looking at a group of 40 individuals there's going to be a Decent amount of Experienced fighters in that group which Ups the Aunty in making sure your group in on Par with whats going on.
to me it seems like legit a Ball group facing a Wall of 40+ people would be a Lot harder to manage than a experienced pvper going ham on Pver's Etc.
That being said I do find it funner to watch
Hard to appreciate the vid after trying to defend a known cheater.

Good luck ever cleaning that stain off your name.
And tell German he has ruined the rep of every single person that wanted to showcase individual skill in this game.

So awesome.
or maybe ...
there are good players out there who don't need to cheat?
I know hard to imagine someone more skillful than yourself but still.
Funny stuff.
Is that the new tip of the day in cheat engine?
You have a video to analyse now, please point out how and what was done that isn't legit.
Hope you enjoy
-- Before anyone asks, no i was not banned and no i didnt cheat. -- ^.^

So you have to prove that someone already banned once is a cheater?
Hope you enjoy

I find this to be so very amusing in retrospect.
