Hi everyone! I'm bored at work so I decided to do some original set ideas for the game. Just want to get some opinions to keep my retail job from eating me alive lol.

Wizard's Integrity (crafted)
(2 Items) Adds 967 Max Magicka
(3 items) Adds 967 Max Magicka
(4 Items) Adds 967 Max Magicka
(5 Items) When you have a damage shield activated, you feel a surge of power, gaining 661 Magicka Recovery.

Martial Master (dropped; Heavy Armor, weapons, jewelry)
(2 items) Adds 967 Max Health
(3 Items) Adds 967 Max Stamina
(4 Items) Adds 129 Weapon Damage
(5 Items) This set will be affected by the "Athletics" and "Wind Walker" passives.

Armsman (dropped; medium armor, weapons, jewelry)
(2 items) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
(3 items) Adds 967 Max Stamina
(4 items) Adds 967 Max Stamina
(5 items) When dual-wielding:
Swords: Increase the damage of each sword by 5%
Axe: Increase the bleed effect of each axe by 5%
Mace: Increase the armor penetration by 5%
Daggers: Increase Critical Damage by 5%

So what do you think? All input would be good, and leave some of your own examples as well!

They are actually really good. I opened the thread expecting something awesomely overpowered (e.g. (5 items) summons a dremora guard who absorbs 33% of all damage taken).

Having demonstrated you can suggest sets that could be included in the game could you help me with something I've been thinking about for a few weeks.

Did you play Morrowind or Oblivion? In those games the character developed by advancing both skills and 7 attributes.

    The seven attributes were
    Strength
    Endurance
    Intelligence
    Willpower
    Speed
    Agility
    Luck

Ever since Imperial city gave us the endurance, willpower and agility sets I've been expecting the other attributes to be revived in sets of their own, but it's been a year so I wanted to write a post to remind Zos... but I honestly can't think what these sets could do that isn't already done in existing sets. Any suggestions?

Strength would be tough. Only because the only combos I think of would be the same as Agility.
Intelligence almost sounds like the TRAINING trait lol. Plus it almost sounds like the new "increase Tel Var" set could be the same thing.
Luck is almost like the new Prosperous trait.

    Speed
(2 Piece) Adds 129 Stamina Recovery
(3 Piece) Increase Movement Speed by 10%. [Note this is not Major Expedition.

    Actually....

    Luck
(2 Piece) Adds 5% Critical chance
(3 Piece) Adds 10% more Critical damage

    Strength
    (2 Piece) Adds 1400 Health
(3 Piece) Adds 10% Damage Mitigation when blocking

    Intelligence
(2 Piece) Adds 200 Magicka Recovery
(3 Piece) Adds 188 Spell Damage

I'm disappointed more people aren't sharing some of their ideas!

I know, I read the forums for news and new suggestions... although mainly what you get is salt lol!

I always wanted some gear (or maybe a passive) that gave a small chance to restore one charge to an enchanted weapon. So if you are running around hitting stuff, but the item has lost it's charge, then occasionally you would recharge and be able to fire off an enchantment. It would be a nice passive for a casual PVE player who tries to horde soul gems.

It isn't enough to be a 5 piece set bonus, but I would like to see it replace the third or fourth bonus on torugs pact.

    Actually....

    Luck
(2 Piece) Adds 5% Critical chance
(3 Piece) Adds 10% more Critical damage

    Strength
    (2 Piece) Adds 1400 Health
(3 Piece) Adds 10% Damage Mitigation when blocking

    Intelligence
(2 Piece) Adds 200 Magicka Recovery
(3 Piece) Adds 188 Spell Damage

intel is more or less the same as will, magicka 2 set and spell crit 3 set would work, or even a spell crit multiplier (0.75?)

strength is doing what i feel endurance should be doing, tho rather than block mitigation i rather see it give a permanent minor berzerking or lifesteal.

    luck sounds interesting.

speed i'd like to see boost sprint speed by 10% and reduce sprint cost by 10%, both as the 3 part bonus.

PLEASE REPLY TO ME WITH @dsalter otherwise i'm likely to miss the reply if its not my own thread

    Enragement (crafted, 9 traits)
(2 Piece) Adds 967 Max Health
(3 PIece) Adds 967 Max Magicka
(4 Piece) Adds 967 Max Health
    (5 Piece) ENGRAGED
When hit with a Critical Hit, causing more than 8000 damage, you become Enraged, increasing your Spell/Weapon Damage by 50%, and increasing the cost of skills by 50% for 5 seconds.

I want crafted jewelry 3 piece sets with a PVE focus.

    Tank set example
    Anarcist set.
2 piece: physical and spell resist
3 piece: taking damage gives you a [x%] chance for you to gain a stack of anarchy. At [x] stacks you can activate the "ANARCHY" synergy causing all mobs within [x meters] to go mad for
    [x seconds].

Mad mobs have no affiliation and will attack anything and everything. Players, other enemys, bosses. If we ever get hard group content again i think this could be an interesting jewelry set for tanks. Turning the tide in over the top trash pulls....

(im imagining when vICP first came out... how this would work on those attros... sweet sweet chaos)

    Spectral death set
    2 piece: Max Magicka
3 piece: Dealing Magical damage gives you a [x%] chance to gain a stack of spectral power. At [x] stacks you can activate the "SPECTRAL WARRIOR" synergy. Summoning a dark spirit to rush the enemy. Dealing [x] magick damage.

(Im picturing those specters that spawn and swoop at the enemy. Like that one in wayrest sewers)

    Knight of Darkness.
    2 piece: Max Stamina
3 piece: dealing physical damage gives you an [x%] chance to gain a stack of Darkness. After [x] stacks you can activate the "Knight of Darkness" synergy summoning a Dark Warrior to rush your enemy. Dealing [x] physical damage.

Here im picturing something akin to the lord wardens knight. The blacked out xivkyn with glowing red eyes that does a shield charge.

With the magicka and stamina DPS these moves would deal AoE damage. The Specter would swoop down dealing damage to all enemys in its path before vanishing and the knight would barrage through the enemys before vanishing. This would allow it to be used on trash while so used on bosses (similar to nireneth)

    2 piece: Max Magicka
3 piece: Critically healing an Ally gives you a [x%] chance to gain a stack of resolve. After gaining [x] stacks you can access the "RESOLVING ENERGY" synergy, calling down a pillar of light for [x] seconds. When a player walks through the pillar their damage mitigation is increased greatly for [x] seconds.

(No idea how well this one would work because i have never played healer.)

Im sure there are alot of flaws with these. But i always thought stuff like this would be cool. Im sure im not seeing big picture and that these are bad ideas for some reason tho.

Hmmm...that actually sounds quite interesting! I for one definitely think that crafted Jewelry would be pretty interesting: Like when mining, you have a chance for a gemstone and rare metals. I feel that Jewelry crafting should be a challenge. And the materials rare. Especially with 3 piece bonuses like those!

They wouldnt even have to be crafted. Could be dropped sets.

    Actually....

    Luck
(2 Piece) Adds 5% Critical chance
(3 Piece) Adds 10% more Critical damage

    Strength
    (2 Piece) Adds 1400 Health
(3 Piece) Adds 10% Damage Mitigation when blocking

    Intelligence
(2 Piece) Adds 200 Magicka Recovery
(3 Piece) Adds 188 Spell Damage

Speed and Luck are wonderful, good as is, adjusted values to match in-game tooltips.
Strength - should add physical resistance instead of flat health (that is found on Endurance)
Intelligence - same thing as strength, it has a stat that can be found in Willpower, instead it should be 8% healing done.

Also note that normal sets provide around 1000 max stat, while the 2 piece from IC jewelry gives around 50% more.
So every 2 piece bonus is 1.5 of the normal bonus value.

    Recap:

    Speed
(2 Piece) Adds 193 Stamina Recovery
(3 Piece) Increase Movement Speed by 10%

    Luck
(2 Piece) Adds 1032 Weapon and Spell Critical
(3 Piece) Adds 10% more Critical damage

    Strength
(2 Piece) Adds 2902 Physical Resistance
(3 Piece) Increase block mitigation by 10%

    Intelligence
(2 Piece) Adds 193 Magicka Recovery
(3 Piece) Increases healing done by 8%

    2-piece bonus: +127 Magicka Recovery
    3-piece bonus: +967 Magicka
    4-piece bonus: +127 Spell Damage
    5-piece bonus: Ascension
Break Free now becomes Ascension. Using Ascension deals 11000 Magic Damage in a 12 Meter Radius, cleanses all negative effects, grants 500 Spell Damage, 5000 Magicka, replenishes your magicka pool, but disables all forms of restoring Magicka. (lasts 20 seconds) (ends early if Magicka is depleted [can't cast more spells]) (60 second cooldown).

    2-Piece Set: Magna-Sola's Blessing
    1-piece Bonus: +127 Magicka Recovery
2-piece Bonus: 4% chance on dealing damage to summon Blessed Ground.
Blessed Ground creates an area in an 8-meter radius that grants Minor Protection, Minor Berserk, Minor Mending, and grants +250 Magicka and Stamina Regeneration for 15 Seconds (30 Second Cooldown)
