    Like I said, this is temporary, just wait for demand being satisfied and the supply refreshing - this can take a few weeks.

    Aye.
    And those throw around as i do not craft...

    But this makes me being poor, and now stuck due to the market prices going bananas.

    In this game ya gotta have a guild and someone crafting to get an edge . What faction are you ? Please don't say EP . You must get enough Viking stuff irl as it is ...

    Ummmm....
    Well...

    NO, just kidding, although i have an EP.

    Main is an AD, and I have 4 guilds. :)

    But our Master crafter does not have supplies to craft my outfit, he has to buy it, but I cannot afford that, as the market is going insane.

    CP160 or old Vr16 gear is a pain but you can grind it out . We run low all the time too so I just go to Orsinium or Gold Coast and farm resources awhile each day . I know it's a pain but worth it . Deconstructing 160 pieces doesn't give much but it's something .

    Well, tell this to your guildies, if you know them well enough - if everyone contributes a bit, they could help you out with the missing part until you are able to repay it - or maybe they will even donate it. I mean, if this is a guild with like 400 members for example, if everyone donates 500 gold, that is 200k gold and your problem would be solved - and 500g hurt no one.

    And they would help me out in no time flat, i would not even have to ask it, just a wee cough would suffice, BUT...
    I can't.
    It's me, don't get me wrong, the issue is on my side.
    I simply cannot accept such a thing... i need to reimburse the crafter, and add a decent amount gold additional, as token of my respect for their work, and appreciation.
    ESPECIALLY since i am such a *** when it comes to what i want.
    I have this set for every ten levels, save for CP 160:
    PURPLE, LVL:
    ==Xivkin Set==
    Vampire's Kiss
    Helm - Infused
    Chest - Divines
    Gauntlets - Divines
    Greaves - Divines
    Sabatons - Infused
    ==Morkuldin Set==
    Pauldron - Divines
    Girdle - Divines
    ==Soul Shriven OR Ald. Dom.==
    Shield - Infused
    ==Soul Shriven or Akaviri==
    1H Sword - Precise

    But I need a complete new and other set, apparently, to make my prime viable again.

    Then waiting for better times is not the worst of ideas - simply, because you do not really know yet, what you want. And your guildies will gather experience with different sets and traits on it and you can benefit from that and then you might know, what you actually want - just discuss that with them.

    What made me wonder is, how the change of damage type with some NB skills will effect pvp combat. What helps against disease damage for example - I think it was disease to what some were changed. But I could be wrong.

    it is disease damage with some NB skill morphs.

    Edit: from patch notes (edited by me)

    Incapacitating Strike (Death Stroke morph): This morph now always stuns the target when it is used, regardless of the caster’s health. This morph now also deals Disease Damage instead of Magic Damage.

    Killer’s Blade (Assassin’s Blade morph): This morph now deals Disease Damage instead of Magic Damage.

    Relentless Focus (Grim Focus morph): This morph’s spectral bow proc has been renamed to “Assassin’s Scourge”, and now deals Disease Damage instead of Magic Damage.

    Power Extraction (Drain Power morph): This morph now deals Disease Damage instead of Physical Damage.

    Even more scary is, that this is just in those 4 morphs, the others have still the old damage types.

    And I have morphed mine to Impale not to killer's blade, maybe I should reconsider that. But then again, impale is a ranged execute, Killer's blade is short range only.

    @Lysette I still stand by what I say, it's not a matter of underestimating anything. I'm a Woodbury graduate :p and well aware of these economic studies. But you're still working with a simulation of resource and not physical resource, there's a vast difference.

    In the real world I pick a flower to make an alchemical concoction, "node" is depleted for months not mere minutes or an instant away. Vastly different. Not to mention the many ways to harvest mats.

    Also SL has a way to convert lindens into USD (or monetary unit of your choice). I can't speak for EVE, and I'm sure there's ways to sell the gold here as well, but then that (in my opinion) comes down to extreme psychological issues on the part of the buyer.

    Back to my original statement, being part of a guild that works together to harvest materials to make gear legendary, it is definitely humorous when I see people (with or without legitimate reasons) complaining about guilds (since our guild doesn't even use them), and I still believe the amount of gold other guilds charge is ridiculous. Again this comes from the background of our guild who work together and farm everything we come across, sharing all mats, ect.

    There is no limit to the gold you can earn, (as far as I'm aware), you can sell as much as you can pick up. Fencing does have a limit (so a limited income there).

    Lol. The entitlement runs strong in this one.

    Legendary gear should not be near as easy as epic. Zos designed it this way by design which is EXTREEMLY obvious.

    4 purple to upgrade vs 8 gold. Purple matts are more common than gold. Most end game gear drops in purple.

    Get the picture. It's as designed and as it is in most games with legendary gear.

    In second life you can use the L$ exchange and sell L$ to people who want to buy it - this provides you with US$ on your account and from there it can be processed - means it is send to your bank account or you get a check minus a fee. You have to be a premium user with validated indentity though - this is to avoid money launder. The number of residents who can live from that is about stable - just about 140 residents have more than 5000 US$ income per month from it. It is not easier there than in real life, just different - just 5% have a positive balance at all, rest is spending money.

    In EVE real money trade is forbidden - you can buy PLEX from other players and use that for services and gametime, but there is no legal way to get ingame currency into real world currency. Anyone caught with real money trade gets the amount he has converted as negative on his ingame account in the first attempt, and if he does it a second time, his account will be terminated. So if someone does this, he has no way to do pretty much anything in the game, until he has returned that money and gets his account out of negative - with negative he cannot even sell a PLEX, because he cannot pay the transaction fees.

    Of course there is a limit - people can just pick up that much in a certain amount of time - the refresh rates of nodes determines an upper limit. You can as well not sell any amount of stuff, because people have a limited gold supply. For an individual it might look unlimited, but for the whole community it is limited.

    The problem with these kind of post is eventually ZOS will cater to the carebears.

    After they rip the heart and soul out the this game, the only people left will be fleeting complaining casuals.

    If you cant be bothered to do at least one characters worth of writs everyday you wont have golded out gear, it's pretty simple.

    A carebear is someone, who cares to survive as opposed to die dozens of times every day, like you pvp guys. That is why they prefer another playstyle than those. Carebear does not mean casual, a carebear can as well be a hardcore gamer, who just refuses to die ever-so-often every day. I myself am a carebear, I would not find it any interesting to die a couple of times every day and think to be a hero, while I could not even stay alive - you see the difference now?-

    Carebear: people who wanted devs to develop/change games to make their gaming experience easy, safe, and cozy. No risk, no challenge, no realism. Cozy like a carebear.

    Asking for the final gear progression in this game to be handed out is ridiculous. I stand by my statement.
