The elves whiped out other elves probaly ( looks at dark elves and dwarfes )
Says a lot about them again

    That's not the case -

The Dwemer disappeared following the events of Red Mountain, which itself was due to the ambitions of the Dwemer and the conquest of the First Council

The Dunmer (then Chimer) were condemned to their ashen skin and racial peculiarities as a consequence of the same battle at Red Mountain where three of the members of the First Council chose to betray their promise with Azura and ascend to become the Tribunal - their own faults, not the Altmer!

Its because most elves are losers. A few of them, like Sinderion or Galerion are worth talking about. Think about it, most of them are too busy 'slow-walking' like Phynaster taught them that they never get anything done. They all reckon they have a few hundred years to accomplish something, so really they never accomplish anything. They're epic procrastinators most of them. This is why elves will always lose. Think about it, how can a short-lived Nord like Shalidor outshine almost everything ever accomplished by the 'elven greats'?

As an argonian i can't Stop laughing. Those puny elves arguing who is the superior race and I'm sitting her and thinking how the deadric god of destruction *** his pants when we kicked his ass. Elves say they are smart we captured Morrowind. We could have killed every dunmer but we know we don't have to show superiority by killing a whole race. Or ask the imperium how it is to conquer our land we'll make a party while you are dying because of some kind of disease

The Dunmer (Chimer) started a war with the Dwemer over the fact they were atheists and were building the Numidium. The Three and Nerevar used the fact that the Dwemer werent Daedric Worshippers, and they were building the Numidium to spur on support for their real interest which was getting ahold of the Heart of Lorkhan.

Theres no telling how things would of played out had the Chimer not laid siege to Red Mountain, but the reason the Dwemer struck the Heart of Lorkhan was out of desperation after their military defeat. Its quite possible that had the Dwemer not been forced into a corner over the Numidium they may have been able to study the Heart long enough to realize striking it would have been a disasterous mistake. Unfortunately, the events didnt play out that way and the Dwemer are now gone because the Chimer and their leaders were reacting out of fear, assumptions and a self interest in power.

Some could argue that the Chimers actions against the Dwemer lead to their disappearance/extinction and that they hold responsibility for that.

I agree entirely with your point - are you disputing what I said? I was making the point that the Altmer were not at all involved in the events that transpired at Red Mountain.

Whether or not the Dwemer were 'forced into a corner' by the warriors of the First Council or whether they chose to attempt their apotheosis as a counter to the Chimer is conjecture - we simply don't know. The Tribunal borne from the events, though, give rise to a number of insights as to the people they once were - they seem to have kept their corruptible mortal whims and emotions, albeit beneath a godly exterior. Nonetheless - having a race of people on your doorstep experimenting with the powers of the Divines would definitely have been disconcerting - whether the Chimer were morally correct to lead the assault is debatable - don't forget that initially they did so with an honourable motive in the name of Azura (albeit a Daedric Prince, but a not-so-evil one) who had them swear not to use the power of the Hear of Lorkhan - seemingly indicating that the Dwemer were playing with powers that could have destructive consequences. The question over whether the First Council were in the wrong in using the Heart and betraying Azura is a different story.

Ah the Gray Geezers are speaking. This finds elven wit to be as slow as their lives. If only it were as sharp as their slaver's whips, then perhaps they might be amusing to this one.

    Frigging Altmers!

Which is why when i see an altmer in pvp i ignore everything else and proceed to eviscerate him/her.

Hell it's even in the Lore so you're definitely not wrong. ;)

I wanted to like the Elves, I really did. I like Elves in other Universes because they're portrayed as long living, peaceful, and beneficial to all things. Elder Scrolls Elves on the other hand are Snobbish, Unfeeling Supremacists. Born into a culture that views other races as lesser beings that infest Tamriel, good only for labor and servitude. And if not then at least they're expected to recognize the Elves as their betters while knowing their own place. Even the Bosmer who are fully Elf aren't spared from your oh so amazing rulers just because of a few differences in physiology and life style.

Man journeyed from Atmora with peaceful intentions, and in the beginning, there was peace between Man and Mer. But all because of either the Snow Elves desire for the Eye of Magnus or their own paranoia of a growing potential threat from Man no one will know for sure, but one fateful night the settlement city of Man was set upon in a sudden slaughter. None were spared and only mighty Ysgramor and his sons made it out. The Elves fate was sealed and the prejudice against them can be quite justified depending on who you ask.
