To exclude the majority of players from housing and Barber shop would kill the game IMO.

In my opinion it should be accessible by all in the base game.
Buying a house with gold. Basic barbershop changes with gold.
Maybe with extra options via crown store and ESO+

No. No no no. This vote comes from an ESO+ member.

Unlockable with a quest. Purchased and customized by spending gold on "basic" features, like various pieces of furniture and decorations. Barbershop should also be accessible as part of the base-game for gold, also with a standard array of basic customization options. However, for those *special* snowflakes who want to spend real money on exclusives, there should be (and likely will be) "premium" options for housing and barbershop available for purchase with crowns. I'd wager there will be crown-exclusive haircuts & tattoos as well as furniture & decorations offered as limited/promotional releases.

In my opinion, housing and the barbershop should be implemented similarly to the way mounts, pets, and costumes are implemented. Part of the base game with optional extras available to those who want to spend crowns on them. Full disclosure, I will pay real money for a bean-bag chair covered in duct-tape.

As far as interesting features with housing, I'd like it immensely if I could walk around my "house" and see my alternate characters lounging around the place. My alchemist would be in the herb garden, my enchanter would be in the libarary, and my provisioner would be in the kitchen, chained to the stove (where he belongs).

Also, I do hope they don't simply drop one, single instance point in every zone's major city/town. That's boring. Some of us might like a more rural setting: grassy hills, snowy mountains, dark forests, sparkling rivers, clear beaches, maybe even deserts and swamps for folks who like their climates either too dry or too humid. Basically, I hope the options are as diverse and varied as possible. Each zone has its charm. I'd like to see that refelcted in the housing. The more interesting and visually stunning, the better.

And of course, I'd like the ability to bring people with whom I'm grouped into my house. Sharing the instance will be complicated, I'm sure, but I heard player housing is meant to be a "social" feature, which I believe logically entails *other* people being involved. But no stealing! I will not tolerate anybody who covets my precious bean-bag chair.

As mentioned before I think it should be like a dlc, subs get it with the subbing and everyone else get it through the store then everyone can have it Decoration or what ever can be bought at the store or better still crafted,, god knows there are plenty of resources out there.
